I recently accompanied a friend who needed dental treatment but was extremely anxious and not been into a building outside her own home since COVID. The staff couldn't have been more understanding and helpful. They came outside to have a conversation and made sure the appointment was at a quieter time. On the day she was greeted outside, and during the appointment they were really mindful, listening to her needs, and responding with care and reassurance. A dentist is not a mental health practice, however the service received exemplified excellent mental health awareness and care. She cannot thank them enough for enabling her to access her dental care.
I accompanied a patient who had had a number of mediocre experiences with other dental practices so was very anxious about dental work in general. The reception staff were superb and guided us to Dentist Marisa who really made the experience a gentle and relaxed one, verging on the enjoyable. No more home dentistry for us! Thanks to Marisa and all the team for their compassionate care.
It’s always a pleasure to see Marissa, such a lovely lady that is kind and compassionate and above all a brilliant dentist. Everyone that I’ve met at the practice from dental nurses to receptionists have all made me feel very welcome. Thank you
Had a filling fall out 2 months after fitting. 2 appointments cancelled at short notice. 3rd appointment 3 months later was rang 4 days before and told the practice had now gone fully private. Could pay for private appointment or leave... Been there 20 plus years and feel let down.
The 5 stars are for Marisa only who is a fantastic dentist who has done a wonderful job on my broken front tooth. I had an appointment after waiting a few weeks to get this fixed. I had a text message saying it was cancelled, when I phoned to make another appointment there wasn't any I offered to pay privately just so i could get it fixed,but there wasn't any private appointments, they did find a 10 minute slot so she could look at it. When I went Marisa was working on the Monday. I asked why it was cancelled and she couldn't say but she made me an appointment to get it fixed. When I came in to get it fixed I asked at reception why it had been cancelled and it was for a smile bupa private patient. I don't like being lied to . Then when I went to pay they said I hasn't paid in July. i had to go home do a photo to prove ive paid . I've been going to this pratice for35 years and ive never had this treatment. It's a shame that it's changed so much.
Located at the beginning of the road of a busy residential road. Very limited parking and due to a shortage of dental staff, this is the first appointment out of four which has not been cancelled by the practice. No priority for senior patients who may be in discomfort. Sign of the times where organisations have put profits before service, whilst the government paid for furlough!!
I'll start by saying that, like most normal people, I don't enjoy going to the dentist. However, my family and I have been going regularly to this practice for twenty-five years or so and the wonderful Fiona looked after all of my children, and saw them all grow up, before she retired earlier this year. So going for an appointment, seeing a new dentist, and never the same one twice and to a practice that you first knew as a small little independent which is now part of a large corporate is definitely not my idea of fun at all..... From the first contact for this recent visit to fulfilment it was simply great. The initial receptionist forgive me, I have a mental blank currently remembering your name called me back two or three times to schedule something appropriate after consulting with the dentists about historical work which she didn't need to do. Thank you. The actual appointment with Adel Sunari and his fantastic assistant Valeriya was brilliant. They were professional, charming, engaging, and actually good fun! The work was painless and I was kept informed all the way through about what was going on. Adel was like a master craftsman sculpting the replacement, and slightly unusual, filling. I quipped afterwards that I now knew how Michaelangelo's David felt! This particular filling has now been done five times in forty-five years and this is without question the best one. Thank you Adel. To give a little more perspective I have spent most of my career advising on, and implementing, customer experience strategies for some of the largest organisations in the world. I have seen some poor stuff and some good stuff - and I have very high expectations of what should be delivered. It is extremely rare that I have seen a genuine world class experience where feedback is pro-active, unprompted so hats off to Adel and Valeriya for a delightful half hour. Thank you both.
It would be nice to get to see a dentist , mine and my daughters appointments are always cancelled a few days before. I'm desperate for her teeth to be seen. Last receptionist I spoke to was quite rude and not helpful
I had no difficulty getting through on the phone to make a appointment. The staff were very helpful and at no time did I feel rushed. When I arrived for my appointment the receptionist were really welcoming. The wait to see the dentist was a short time. I could not have been better taken care by all . Thank you to everyone who works there your a amazing team .
Amazing practice, Marisa is the best dentist I have ever had, and equally excellent with my kids too
