Very comfortable, clean room with good bathroom overhead shower in bath was great. Good supply of teas/coffee with fresh milk available in fridge by reception. Very good night's sleep. 1/2 star knocked off as service at breakfast was not ideal...we were just shown to table and asked to place order. Not informed that cereals, juices and yoghurt were available in the room next door! And unfortunately, no marmalade available or so we were informed!. Will definitely stay here again. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending to our fellow travellers! Rooms: Comfortable, clean room with very good bathroom. Safety: Felt safe, no concerns Food & drinks: Good choice in restaurant...loved the beef and ale pie with chunky chips, mushy peas and perfectly cooked green beans and carrots!
Great stay. Large, modern and comfortable room. Had a great sleep and they did a fabulous breakfast. Only small issue was room was a bit cold on arrival wuth only a small gas filled radiator to heat. Rooms: Lovely large and comfortable rooms with everything you need. Food & drinks: Excellent drink selection and fabulous quality breakfast.
There was no one at reception to check in with, after calling, had to go to the pub to ask someone. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very nice, only critism was heavy dust on the fake plants. Breakfast was fantastic. Had an issue getting into my room, but maintenance staff quick to arrive and sort it out.
This is our second visit to the Bulls Head - we are from America and initially chose to stay at this lovely Inn close to the airport before heading out on our UK travels. We chose it because of location and the access to dinner and breakfast without the need to go anywhere else. We came back this time for the same reason, as well as accommodating and lovely staff, great food, clean pleasant rooms, quiet area and extra touches to make guests welcome. My elderly mother was on the ground floor making for a comfortable and safe visit. One down side was that the prices increased pretty drastically from last year, but still worth it for location, food and amenities and probably on par with increases in everything else with inflation. All-in-all, this is our go to place coming off a 12 hour flight. Early check in is a great option and is definitely worth the extra $15. Food & drinks: Great food and right next door to the actual hotel rooms.
I had an excellent experience during my visit, largely thanks to our waitress, Sophie. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that nothing was too much trouble. Her positive attitude and dedication to providing outstanding service truly stood out. With the example she sets, I believe she deserves a leadership role. Thank you, Sophie, for making our meal so enjoyable!
I stayed here for 3 nights to be near my training academy. So glad I stayed here. Lovely decor, very clean and friendly staff. Pub next door is great and convenient. Can’t fault it. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay there again .Rooms: 5/5
Booked 1 night B&B following recommendation from friends with 14 nights car parking whilst abroad. Manchester Airport car parking has worsened in recent years so we were looking for a suitable alternative. I'd highly recommend this accommodation for the high standard of comfort with gorgeous room decor. Complimentary toiletries in the bathroom were not regular but seemed quite high end. We were late checking in & early checking out but the night clerk took our breakfast order which he delivered promptly to our room. Lovely crockery & cutlery & good selection of food available. Convenient location for quick transfer via taxi to the airport. We were upset we didn't have longer at this gorgeous place & will definitely be visiting again! Highly recommended
We chose the Bulls Head because of it's proximity to Manchester Airport combined with price. It was a great choice. The rooms in the hotel were clean and updated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was in the pub and parking was included. The pub was also updated, but in a comfy style. The food and service and drinks were all fantastic. With only two of us we didn't need a table reservation, but you might need one for a larger party on a busy weekend evening. Will definitely come here again for an airport stopover.
What a wonderful find. We had to find somewhere to stay for a night at very short notice. What an amazing find! Fantastic rooms, the friendliest staff and superb food. Everyone was so helpful and understanding. We will definitely be booking again whenever we fly from Manchester. A huge thank you to everyone working here.
I am diabetic I ordered a very weak line and soda. The amount of line cordial made it undrinkable. We offer roast beef Sunday roast. Within 3 minutes of ordering the meal it arrived. To begin with I thought I had ordered soup there was so much busy gravy it was swimming in it. The Yorkshire pudding was dry and stale the parsnips I had one tiny slither two hard roast potatoes and uncooked broccoli. Diners beware. You’d better getting a Birds Eye frozen beef in gravy. £48.00 for dreck.
