First time at The Bull, won't be the last! Traditional, classic is what hits you when you walk in and your first sight of the beautiful menu. The range of dishes and favs you have not seen for years just makes you smile! You can sit in the bar area or in the restaurant, restaurant for us. Glad we did as the staff could not have been more attentive and pleasant. They could not do enough and they were certainly on the ball. Now the food. It took us so long to choose. Every time a dish came out of the kitchen we changed our minds!! The wine selection was good and had something for every wallet size. So the food we had, three courses for lunch please!!! Beautiful sardines, grilled to perfection and the taste was fantastic. A seafood crepe was bursting with fresh fish and prawn. Beef Wellington to follow. That was amazing, cooked perfectly and tasted out of this world. A short rest after that and then the desert trolly rolled up. This was torture, you just wanted everything on show. Home made and sooooo good. Lemon Meringue Pie and an Ape Strudel and lashings if chilled fresh cream. What is not to love, and we loved every minute at The Bull.
Lovely little spot that I had the pleasure of visiting with a large group of colleagues. Service was lovely, the staff went above and beyond. Food was tasty but a little dated and lacked seasoning. Atmosphere was great with an old timey vibe with low ceilings, cozy bar and booths, and antiquities scattered throughout.Food: 3/5
The place looks lovely and the service is just excellent, very nice and polite stuff, but the food is just really not good and overpriced. We took Camamber, Scampi with rice, escalope and pate - Camamber was just too fat and fried, prawns were overcooked and the potatoes served with meat were burnt. Probably we were just unlucky, because I'm general place looks nice, but honestly very bad food experience with high price and bad quality. Felt very heavy in stomach after.
We had lunch here today for my Dad’s birthday. The food was very good and the service was similar to a top restaurant. Brilliant! They had a delicious dessert trolley. What happened to the dessert trolley. Loved it!
We ate in the bar at the Bull Inn Bisham at the weekend, and were so impressed. The place is lovely - traditional, old-fashioned and comfortable. The building dates back many centuries apparently. Our waiting staff who I think may be the owners too were so attentive and professional. Cutlery and crockery was arranged just so on the table, with every item in the exact right position. For our main courses I had the Beef Stroganoff, and the other members in our group had the lemon sole, and all of the dishes were nicely presented and delicious. The food was served on hot plates, which for me is always the sign of a good restaurant. For dessert there's a sweet trolley with enticing choices. All in all it was like being in a top class restaurant. We will most definitely go back the the Bull Inn Bisham if we're in Marlow again, and since our visit we have been recommending it to all our friends!
The restaurant has an exceptionally extensive menu offering an assortment of meals, poultry and fish including crustaceans. The wine list was also equally extensive and joyful. The seabass was beautifully prepared and served. Staff was perfectly attentive, helpful, accommodating and friendly. Looking forward to visiting again
We went to the Bull for Sunday lunch. The Sunday set menu was great and excellent value for money. The dessert trolley was a highlight. It felt like going back in time and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
Excellent traditional food, food was fresh and where appropriate served very hot, the portions sizes were very good. Lovley friendly service. We particularly like the beautiful white linen and that we could talk without shouting even though the place was full. Will definitely be back. Recommended.
Eating here is like going back in time!! Amazing service, even silver service and a sweet trolley! Food was more suited to the older clientele soft veg but was still very nice. The kind of place you take your Nan when you want a nice Christmas present!
We had one of the best meals of our lives here. Staff, service, and food was fantastic. Delectable desserts.
