Very beautiful breakfast everyday and very nice owner. I love the fresh breakfast and flower there, start to miss it already!!Rooms: 5/5
Stayed 2 nights while walking the Pennine Way. Really great guest house. Comfortable room, good facilities and excellent food. The host, Andrew, even did a pile of laundry for me. Nice touches included fresh fruit and fresh milk refrigerated in the room. Altogether an exceptional b&b.Rooms: 5/5
A very comfortable b&b with everything you need in your room. A friendly owner who serves delicious breakfasts that set you up for the day. Set in a small village with 2 pubs.Rooms: 5/5
We've just returned from a 2 night stay and everything was perfect. A lovely clean comfortable room, with quality bedlinen. Water and fresh fruit provided in the room and also fresh milk for your tea/coffee rather than UHT. Bathrobes were supplied , beautiful toiletries and an iron, an elec fan and even shoe cleaning materials. Andrew was a very friendly, pleasant host. The breakfast was superb-fresh fruit, continental meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereals as well as the full English. Also Andrew's homemade date and walnut loaf was delicious.Middleton is a lovely village. Andrew, we wish you and your wife all the best. Thank you.
This is probably the best B and B I have ever stayed in. The room was extremely comfortable, the breakfast was absolutely excellent and the owner was very helpful. The cost was very reasonable. The location was pleasant and convenient. I will definitely stay again. Middleton in Teesdale is lovely.Rooms: 5/5
A lovely place and the room is better than most good 3/4 star hotels. The area is quiet and a good base for walking etc. The people living there are exceptionally friendly and they will do things that you don't always get elsewhere such as saying things like hello, enjoy your stay and have a good time. We were pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome from local people who are quite rightly proud of their little village. All in all a lovely little place with very warm friendly locals
A superb little B&B, excellent rooms, really clean and breakfast was great. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. It also has a little snug you can use to sit and read, and as the premises are licenced you can have a beer bottle or wine etc.
Absolutely brilliant stay Andrew is welcoming and polite . The rooms are beautifully kept clean and tidy. The breakfast is cooked to order and tasty. Highly recommended
Lovely few days stay here. Host is very welcoming and I’ve never had a better ‘full English’ breakfast - and I’ve had a few!Plenty of parking out front if you can’t face the ‘tunnel of terror’ to get to the official car park at the back!
Beautiful rooms and house, the hosts are very warm and welcoming and the food is amazing! Wish we could live here! The downstairs lounge area is very relaxing and the hosts are full of information about the local areas and activities. Will definitely be back.
