We decided to go away last minute, and found this lovely place ourselves. Booking direct was the same price as the online companies. We were well looked after by the owners and staff. Everyone was very friendly and very pleasant. Our room was in the Courtyard. All very clean and decorated nicely, as described on the website. The evening menu was varied and was really lovely, as was the breakfasts. Evening meal is not available on Sundays. However, the owners were more than happy to let you use the dining room to eat your takeaway. Beautiful grounds too. ,Not forgetting, Buddy, the dog, gorgeous. Would revisit again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
A year ago we wanted to arrange our wedding and right from the start Broom Hall were very helpful, easy to arrange things with etc. We had our wedding at this venue yesterday and right from arriving on Friday night everyone had been brilliant, helping us with any queries etc. All our family arrived staying until Sunday morning, the rooms were superb. Burger night on Friday evening the food was great. Our Wedding was beautiful, our pedestal flowers were stunning and the food was 5*. The owners and staff were excellent in every way attending to our every need and request. All our guests have now thanked us for a wonderful weekend and that they had been to the best wedding ever.nThank you very much for a superb wedding to all at Broomhall and of course the dog Buddy. xx
We have stayed with yourselves on numerous occasions and have always found the hotel to be friendly. I have also enjoyed high tea which was outstanding and well presented with a variety of home made cakes and savoury treats. Therefore we were really looking forward to our visit , but unfortunately the high tea we were served with today was certainly lacking in variety, not presented well and very disappointing! Having looked at posts of recent high teas served, what was provided today was certainly not what was expected and definitely not worth the money.nnI never post about my experiences but just felt it was important to let you know - maybe it was a lack of staff or just a bad day but unfortunately this customer has been left feeling very disappointed!
My family and I attended Broom Hall Country Hotel last month for a special birthday meal. We found the staff were very accommodating leading up to and on the day, by letting us create our own 3 course meal options for the guests, helping us decorate the room prior to arriving and by bringing out the food swiftly. The service was great and food very tasty. Thank you to everyone at Broom Hall Country Hotel for giving our family a meal to remember.
Another fabulous afternoon tea at Broom Hall. Service is amazing. Gardens are beautiful although due to weather unable to walk round them this time. Upon leaving asked about the Friday burger night they hold. Will definitely be booking that to try. Thank you
