Lovely park with a good range of seating and play equipment suitable for ages 2-12. The play area is enclosed by a fence and there is a younger play area with sand one end, a climbing net, swinging rope and swings in the middle with an older play frame with slides the other end. You can sit and have full view of your child across the whole of the play area. First time visiting and won't be the last :
We love this park, it has everything you need for a young family. The playground has so many different apparatus - it's suitable for all ages I would say. The cafe is also close by with great changing facilities and lovely food. It's a lovely place to visit regardless of the weather.
Extremely popular place for dog walking, its the only sizable park for Penwortham. Dogs are allowed off lead although some, and only some owners who frequent the park are fairly precious of their pooches - beware. There's a cafe at the park lodge open from 10am - 4pm. Accessible and not so accessible paths good for all.
Great place to take a walk, walk the dog, take the kids to the park, or just relax. Beautiful surroundings with plenty to keep your little ones entertained.
Lovely place for a walk with or without a dog. Nice children's playground that's fenced off. The old Penwortham Hill Rovers changing rooms has been converted and renovated into a cafe . It recently had an opening ceremony with dignitaries. Three of the ponds have had new fencing erected. It looks much better now.
