As an owner of one of the chalets I am biased. But, it is great. Large green areas outside the chalets. Good clubhouse with restaurant, plus paddling and swimming pool open in the season. Lots of places of interest to visit nearby. Just a few miles from sandy beaches and The Broads.
Just what you need for a simple holiday base. Nice chalets, swimming pool, children's park and a restaurant and clubhouse.
Enjoyed our stay, quiet and friendly well- layed out park.
I've stayed here 3 times in the last 2 years because I love this area of the UK. I don't know the quality of the regular chalets as I always stay in the Hawthorns accommodation, which is a house, not a chalet. However, everything I've seen from this park is amazing. The accommodation is very clean when you get there and there is already milk, coffee and tea bags in the kitchen for hot drinks when you arrive. The beds can seem a bit cheap or small for some, but for a small person like me they are fit for purpose. The clubhouse pub sells proper drinks and really nice food, especially on the children's menu. There's a pool and a play area outside which, other than being a bit small are very good for families of chalet owners who come here on a regular basis. Overall, this park has given my family amazing service and we will very likely come back next year.
What an Incredible Chalet Park? The weekend that we visited Broadside Chalet Park was probably not the best, as it was wet and cold. But that notwithstanding, we were still able to see beyond the appalling weather to what was a well kept and incredibly well managed park. The peace and serenity of the park was so incredibly brilliant and nice. Coming from London, where we are surrounded by noise pollution in every aspect of our daily living, we were suddenly transformed into a large oasis of tranquility, and we were pleasantly surprised and captivated by the change of pace and lifestyle in Norfolk! Certainly a good retirement destination for that slower pace and a better quality of life. The gardens are very well manicured and the place is very nice and tidy. They provide wheelie bins outside for ease and convenience. There is also a very large Tesco within 2 minutes drive of the park. We did anticipate taking a leisurely walk to Tesco, but the 'monsoon' weather put paid to that, and we drove instead. We are look forward to returning some other time when East Anglian weather is in fine fettle. I definitely recommend Broadside Chalet Park to all and sundry. Even the other people we encountered in the car park or whilst taking a short walk around the park, when the weather was not pouring down with rain, were all so very nice and friendly towards us. Great little chalet park. Child friendly with friendly staff and people. Outdoor pool. Food is good value and really nice. The holiday park itself is really good value, it costs around £340 for a 2 bed chalet even in peak season!
Lovely little chalet park, club house is lovely, really nice food. Kids loved the heated outside swimming pool. Highly recommend.
My favourite North Norfolk holiday destination. With the broads accross the road and a lovely sandy beach 4 miles away there's loads to do and see for all ages. The site is well looked after and there's always a warm welcome and a good selection of food and drinks in the clubhouse as well as a swimming pool available over the summer months.
