For years, May Sum was THE place to go for a very decent Chinese takeaway, and regularly received a 5-star rating from the local Environmental Health food inspectors.

However, about two, maybe three years ago, its longstanding owner sold up to the current owners - and that was when it went dramatically downhill.  The food is now frankly disgusting - often swimming oil and grease, overcooked, tough. . .  eugh.  I'm gagging and wretching at just the thought of the sheer torture of having to eat such dire food.

Oh, and to boot, their EH food hygiene rating has plummeted too.
