A great indie bookshop with a lot crammed into a small but perfectly amazing space! You will not only find recent books, the classics and books focussing on London and the East End you will also find a range of gifts and interesting items. A great bookshop in a great location!

A firm personal favourite of bookshops. Carters well for the adventurous tourist and local city dweller alike. Has a great selection of local books, art and hobby craft, poetry and a fiction secfion which leans away from the traditional and more toward the Sci-fi / fantasy and cult literature. Although a small shop in size, it packs everything in well without feeling overcrowded. Tucked away at the back, lined up neatly upon the foot on the shelves, is their 'sale' section of up to half price book, and although they do alternate them often, they are always a great selection of must own cult classics and hidden gems of pop literature.

When I used to live in East London, this shop was one of my favourites to visit. Although small, it has a great selection of books and was for a long time my go-to place for greeting cards. A hidden gem on Brick Lane.
