The staff at Waterstones, Ilford could not be more helpful. I turned up with a list of books & the very kind gentleman had no hesitation in finding each book on the shelves for me. 3 of the books were not in stock so they were ordered for me to pick up a few days later.  Service with a smile & they clearly enjoy the job & have knowledge about what they are selling. I would absolutely recommend this shop.

I ordered the spring board 3 on 29 October 2022. On 22 November, Waterstone Ilford messaged that the book was ready for collection. I came to collect at the weekend on 27 October and was told the book was given to someone else. This is unacceptable. I had been waiting for ages for the book. But the shop took the liberty to give to someone else without contacting me and it is not that the book was left uncollected for an unreasonable period. Just to be clear the message for collection did not say bow long the book is on hold. Please do not trust this branch.

A decent range of books to choose from and the offers are good. A reasonable size store and not particularly busy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back

A lovey bookstore and don't miss the second floor cafe. It's perfect to take a rest there and read the book you like; or just chat with your friends. The experience of visiting a bookstore is very different from buying from the Internet.

Don't believe the positive reviews. This Waterstones is only worth going to if you are a parent who wants to waste your money on a useless study guide to help your child pass their GCSE.

So quiet. The man working here was knowledgeable and super friendly. I would be happy just to hang out here and browse. I know we live in the Internet age but traditional shops like this are difficult to beat when there's the time to enjoy them.

Great store with quite a nice collection of books. It is a very tidy and well arranged store. Staff are polite, helpful and professional. The stairs within the store for the first floor are barricaded and a bit more investment into the store can make the store more presentable. That doesn't mean that its not a good store, as to be fair it is an excellent store. The store is on ground level hence alright for wheelchairs users. This store is a very important and the only book store in the area, and is a must to be visited by book lovers. Waterstones keep up the good work.

Very well stocked and gives good advice to the kids on what's good to read.

I really enjoyed browsing the store on the weekend and the young lady has really convinced me to buy the book of the month, well done! It was indeed a good recommendation. Thank you!
