We had a lovely time here for breakfast today. The food was great and really good value for money as the children eat free. Our twins loved playing in the soft play afterwards too. Our waitress Jules was lovely and offered us pastries to take away at 10.30 when the breakfast area was closing. All in all a great morning and we will be back soon for dinner! Kid-friendliness: Perfect for children with the free soft play. Kids eat free which is great for those that don’t eat much, although there is a great variety anyway.
With The Brewers fare, you know what you're getting, generally cheap food. I stayed here, well at the Premier Inn next door. You have to pay everywhere for parking, here you get 3 hours free, which is great when my son visited me for breakfast. The area has lots to do. Breakfast buffet was good for a buffet, the second day the hash brown seemed very dark, but soggy, so a bit different on the weekend, compared to the week. Staff were friendly.
First time here Today, had the best meal in years, reasonable prices. Thank you all the staff and chefs Nathen and Bradley sorry can't remember the other guy's name but all amazing, I have no connection to this place, other than Eating there today. Parking: We parked close to Southsea castle and enjoyed a short walk along the seafront.
First impressions, pretty good. Great breakfast, cooked perfectly tbh. Has on site kids facilities and play pen. Clean toilets, good customer service and plenty of large areas to seat your family. Pretty impressive and the waiter/bar staff was really friendly. When we visit Clarence Pier again we will definitely be spending the few hours on the morning here before the rest of the attractions open.
Lisa and Katie were really helpful great seat and beautiful restaurant if you are reading this you really need to go take a look, as for the food very rarely when I ask for rare I get it but this time all my food was cooked to perfection an amazing job in the kitchen Elly . will definitely be visiting again see you guys again soon
I recently had the opportunity to visit the Clarence Pier Brewers Fayre, and overal, had a pleasant dining experience. Located on Clarence Pier, the restaurant offers a casual and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a suitable choice for various occasions. One of the highlights of my visit was the extensive menu selection although the menu book could do with an update Clarence Pier Brewers Fayre offers a range of classic British dishes, including burgers, steaks, fish and chips, and hearty pub-style meals. The menu caters to different dietary preferences, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available. 1 found the portion sizes to be generous, ensuring that even the heartiest of appetites would be satisfied. The quality of the food was generally good. The dishes I tried were well-prepared and flavorful. The fish and chips, in particular, stood out for its crispy batter and tender fish. The service was attentive and friendly, with the staff making an effort to ensure that all guests felt welcomed and attended to. The restaurant's setting is casual and comfortable, with a cozy interior and a pleasant view of the pier. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a suitable place for families with children. Clarence Pier Brewers Fayre also offers a play area for kids, which is a great feature for families looking for an entertaining dining experience. In terms of value for money, Clarence Pier Brewers Fayre offers reasonably priced meals, considering the portion sizes and overallquality. It's a great option for those looking for a satisfying and affordable dining experience in the area. In conclusion, Clarence Pier Brewers Fayre is a reliable choice for a casual dining experience in a family-friendly setting. With its extensive menu, good quality food, and attentive service, it's a suitable option for individuals and families looking for a satisfying meal while enjoying the seaside atmosphere.
We stood for about 4 or 5 minutes before anyone sat us down and after ordering I can believe how quick the food came out. Most of it was cold so it was as if someone else ordered it but didn't want it. Its impossible to cook that quick and go cold in 10 minutes. Never go here again it was ridiculous. 1-10Food: 1/5
The place is nicely set out, but very basic food, my children meals they loved. But I had the chicken tikka curry was very runny like a soup, and handful of rice. Get a microwave meal in supermarket thats more tasty and only cost 4 pound.Food: 3/5
Lovely place, the drink refill machine is great. My meal was really nice too, great value lunch menu. The car park on the right is council run and the prices aren't up to date, free parking from the Clarence is round the back of it. Didn't find that out until we went in and I'd already paid. At least I know for next time! Dietary restrictions: They asked about allergies, I said my husband had a peanut allergy and was just told they couldn't guarantee it was nut free. Which was fine for us, but may not be for others.
Ordering our food took a while as there was only one member of staff taking the orders during a busy Saturday night shift. The gentleman that took our order remained pleasantly cheery and helpful never the less so can’t fault him! When the food came it was missing some ingredients which were shown in the menu description when I questioned this I was told ‘oh sorry we’ve run out’ but it wasn’t pointed out beforehand. I had a chicken burger which was charred on the top but the middle was pink and completely raw throughout. I did receive a refund and the waitress was very apologetic but food wise it was an absolute shambles.
