At Brewers Fayre we've thought of everything. Great value, great food, great family friendly atmosphere; we've got the lot. Our menu is packed full of family favourites all freshly prepared by our trained Chefs. Dunelm Ridge is situated in the small village of Pity Me, close to Digger Land, Durham Cathedral & Durham Castle. Our family friendly atmosphere & great location make us a fantastic place to visit - we are part of the neighbouring Arnison Retail Park & just 1.5 miles away from Durham City Centre. Our Fun Factory provides children with hours of fun - & parents a well deserved break! Plus our freshly cooked, tasty pub food is the best value around!

Had a lovely greeting as we got to Dunelm Ridge for our Christmas Fayre Lunch. The staff could not have been more helpful. We chose the Christmas menu and ordered at the bar. Before we got back to our seat, the starters had arrived. We had first class service from very friendly helpful staff. The food was very nice well cooked and to our taste. We had turkey with all the trimmings and a side of cauliflower cheese, it was very tasty. Could not fault the service or food.
The food was ok ish . Not above average , taste was bland. Had the prawn cocktail and the big burger with fries . Burger was better than expected , on a scale from 1 to 5 would give it a 2.5/3 . Very nice atmosphere, they had a kids area , great selection of draft beer. Also purchased breakfast with my stay at premiere inn by t the place was shut at 6 o’clock, so probably breakfast starts from 8 or something.
Food here is excellent. A great selection and is always hot and fresh. The staff are really friendly and hard working especially Hollie who goes out of her way to greet us every Sunday when we come for dinner.nThe menu is up to date and has a good selection for everyone.
Food good, but could do with a couple more staff on the bar to take orders. Would go again though.
No management and low standards. Unbelievably slow to place a order with staff squabbling over who should be on the tills or cleaning. And then almost an hour for starters to arrive with even the waitress admitting that the kitchen staff must have forgotten us... Well done to her for chasing up for us. Seriously go somewhere else if you want fed.
