Very rural location at Pity Me North Durham. Staff have been brilliant both at reception and housekeeping. Free car parking. Very helpful re: location of places to go . Modern feel of room. Good lighting. Light and bright. Quiet place to stay. Fully recommend for comfort and retail park nearby.

Premier Inns should be a universal constant: the same, wherever you go. Durham North is no exception. Comfy bed with black out blinds, a decent distance from the road to aid a peaceful night's sleep yet still only a short drive from the A169. Plus there's a Brewers Fayre right next door for food and drinks. Everything you need as a plane to rest while exploring the local area.

Staff very friendly. Rooms very clean and the bed is to die for, so comfortable. Will definately return.

Friendly receptionist even with a late arrival. Room a good size & clean, quiet & well appointed for an economy hotel (well lit, high standard of decoration, hairdryer, sufficient towels, plentiful & easily accessible electrical outlets, free wi-fi). Plus the bed really was as comfortable as the adverts suggest!

Comfortable, clean room. No lift to upper floors (disabled beware). No fridge. Staff pleasant - especially the night porter.
