Excellent food at affordable prices. We came across this restaurant during our trip to Durham. It was a Friday night and the place looked very busy, so we didn't think we had much of a chance getting a seat without a booking, however they managed to accommodate us. The staff were kind and it felt like we were being hosted by an Italian family with home cooked authentic food. The house wine was delicious and very affordable, as was the food. I had the seafood spaghetti and it had a very generous serving of fish through it. The garlic bread was one of the best I've ever eaten. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've eaten at, I just wished that we lived locally so we could go again.

What a wonderful little find. So authentic, my partner and I wanted a proper Italian meal, turned off by the busy city centre with Italian chains we were over the moon to find this little restaurant with only 5? Tables we knew the food was to be good. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive. The decor and ambience made you feel as if you were in Italy itself and wasn't distasteful or mocking. Now, the food was superb and came in good time the wine selection was well and complemented the food. If we come back to Durham again we sure will be stopping here again!

First visit in all the times I've been to Durham didn't realise it was there. Absolutely loved it food lovely. Staff were brilliant so friendly will definitely return asap
