Disappointing, as the pub is so near to one of greatest brewery in the region but their ale, bear selection is poor and the quality is also poor .The pub is nicely located to have a drink on the way to or coming back from a football match, and probably do not care about the beer quality.
Fab little pub. Interesting building/layout. Feel like you are going back in time a bit. Great selection available and fab staff
A really nice pub I started going here as a friend who works at Marstons would go in a few nights a week for a drink. A 2 minute walk from West park which was great when the wv1 fest was on.
Such a good pub. Traditional three room pub serving a good choice of beer. Very friendly landlord, landlady and locals. If you're in Wolverhampton you should go for a pint. Or stay over the road at the Ely House Hotel and spend an evening in the pub. Ten minutes walk from city centre.
I have been visiting the Combermere primarily on match days for many years, and the very fact of this consistent, repeat business speaks well enough in itself. I dont know how they cope with how busy it gets, but cope they do. On my most recent visit I have to say I had the BEST pint well, 2 and a bit in the end! of bitter I have had anywhere for years. All the beer is usually good but this Tim Taylor's will linger on my taste buds and remind me how GOOD good English beer can be. Many thanks. Up the Wolves!
Great old fashioned pub serving proper pints of Guinness.
Great old fashion pub great staff great beer and fun
A nice and friendly traditional pub with a decent range of ales.
Love this place. Spit and sawdust, but great beer and friendly service. Very few of these places left. We should all we grateful its still here.
A great little pub with a really friendly atmosphere. There is plenty of outdoor space and some good live bands play. I have been here for birthday parties, Paddy's day, New Year's eve and leaving dos. Always a friendly crowd and the management and staff members always have a chat with you as they collect the glasses. Super clean. There is a decent range of drinks. The one member of staff even made me a hot toddy once with cloves in when I had a cold. A great place to go out for a few drinks, a real gem in Wolverhampton!
