The station was refurbished a while ago to include step free access via lifts which is nice. Only two trains an hour outside of the peak so you can expect trains to be very busy here. Ticket facilities are sub par at best.

friendly staff but only 1 kiosk open so get there early if u need 2 buy a ticket from the counter
station improved since refurb with 3 new toilets

recently refurbished and facilities added including cash machine, toilets and extended booking hall .
Staff friendly and polite

It's a pretty empty station with one shop, which shuts around 7.
