Staff at the station is not helpful with ticket issue, lack of knowledge about the overall rail system even misinterpreting the unique station and ticket codes!. Why would these services deserve an increase in salary? People who travel long distance could have miss their pricey trains. Drive instead if you could be. Not to mention the delay and frequency of trains. Extra star goes to the toilet facility, sheltered seatings and real-time display which actually should be basic in these days.
I was having a lovely time at Bracknell station suns out took the whole family out for a day out. Beautiful picnic overlooking the tracks. Until we discovered...the toilets. Taps were covered in mould and no toilet paper. Ruined the whole experience and holiday for the family, utterly appalled. Will not be recommending or vacating here again.
Remember to bring your physical bank card when you try to collect tickets at the station machine. There is option for contactless but it does not work. Otherwise you have to buy it again
Bracknell Railway Station is a very handy place to use, as you can get a train from Bracknell to Reading, all the way through to London Waterloo Station ..nIt has disabled people entrences & parking .
Nice station. Lift is available for passengers.
