Good, honest and traditional pub. Food is nice and hearty. Slightly limited selection of real ales. But proper homemade chips so it's still 5 stars in my book!

A home from home kind of pub for great homecooked food. I prefer this place for weekend lunch dining. If you eat lunch here, you don't need to eat for the rest of the day. The portions are always plentiful and the menu very extensive. You'll be spoilt for choice.
Cosy atmosphere and great food. A cut above most pub food. Friendly service. So much nicer than the big pub chains. We will be back very soon.
