Had to have our oil furnace replaced, the repairman that first came and gave us a quote was VERY friendly and professional. When it came to install day the guys again were right on time actually a little early!!and had the old furnace out and new one installed in less than 6 hours. Communication, punctuality and good work all around. Would definitely recommend and will be a repeat customer.
Barracuda is who we've used the last 3 season for our annual furnace cleaning, and they have been excellent to deal with. I'd especially like to recognize James, a fantastic service tech who was here at my home this morning. What an incredibly nice gentleman, enthusiastic about his work, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to have in my home. I actually made a point of telling him that the service he provided was above and beyond what you generally see today. Great work James, you're an excellent and valuable representative of Barracuda! See you next year.
We had Barracuda Heating come out to our home with a weeks notice to exchange our oil heat for propane. They were fast, efficient, and super friendly. told great jokes as well All of the employees were super great with my family, especially my son. Most of them took the time to play with him and interact with him while doing the work to our home. It was so incredibly nice to have these professional and kind people do the work and while being so friendly and extremely good at what they do! I would highly recommend them to anyone.
We have dealt with Barracuda for many years. They supplied and serviced a furnace in a rental that we had. We always the prices to be fair and the quality of the work to be very good. A friend told us that the service technician from a major oil company that her furnace had to be replaced. We suggested that she get a second opinion from Barracuda. She was delighted to learn that the problem was fairly minor and was repaired by Barracuda at a very reasonable price. When we wanted to replace our oil fired hot water tank with an electric one, we were delighted to learn that Barracuda could do that for us. We were very pleased with their work.
Repaired our existing water heater with a warning that the time would soon come to replace it. Sure enough, less than a year later, another pet failed. They came on short notice with options and price ranges. They made time for us and we had a long term solution - and a happy family. Highly recommend their services! As the tech said after the final repair, “I hope you don’t see us for a long time.” Thanks to Barracuda, we won’t have to worry about our hot water anytime soon. 5 stars!
Excellent service! The install was completed within one day and the worksite was left very tidy. We are very happy with the equipment and the personal service. Barracuda was recommended to me by a work colleague and I will be recommending them to others in the future.
Justin was polite, informative and professional. He arrived in a timely manner and took the time to explain what was wrong with my furnace and what he had to do to fix it. He explained the cost of my repair and parts. I will definitely use Barracuda again.
I have been a loyal customer of Barracuda Heating Service for the past 6 years, and up until now, I’ve been satisfied with their service and reasonable pricing for oil and maintenance. Over the years, their service costs have increased at a manageable rate of around 4-7%, which seemed fair. However, this year, I was shocked to see a huge 29.92% increase in the cost of maintenance — from $149.99 last year to $194.87 this year! What’s worse, I wasn’t notified of this drastic price hike in advance. When I tried to speak with the manager about it, I was met with unprofessional behavior. The manager was rude, stated that they didn’t have to inform me of the increase, and instead of resolving the issue, he even threatened me with collection services. After years of being a happy customer, this experience has completely changed my opinion of Barracuda Heating. I can no longer recommend them and will be looking for a new heating service provider. Be cautious if you decide to use their services!
Always available, great prices, fast and reliable service. I'm so impressed with the team at Barracuda for making my switch back to oil and much better experience then I could have hoped for. CHOOSE BARRACUDA for good customer service and reliability!!
I’ve used them for annual maintenance and to troubleshoot and address various issues or concerns with my system and they have always been professional and proficient. I feel I am getting honest advice and have absolute confidence in their expertise. I would easily recommend them to anyone in need of service work for their home heating system.
