Had a lovely time at dinner with my family. Our waitress made amazing suggestions. The food was amazing, with a great variety of tastes. It is definitely worth trying out all the different foods. The price is on the higher side but in my opinion, the quality of the food was worth it. Highly recommend checking it out.Food: 5/5
Ordered the Rigatoni pasta. Although it was very tasty, I think if it were at have had more sauce this would have made the dish better and more enjoyable. I also found that the pasta was not very filling. Service was a bit slow, considering there were only handful of customers dinning. Server was wonderful, answered questions, made conversation, and made recommendations.
Tried this place for different occasions. Lunch, takeout and dinner all very good. Super friendly staff and cozy patio. My server, Christine K goes out of her way to make connection with her customers, kudos for that. On top of everything, dogs friendly patio. Highly recommend.
Service was a tad slow but the servers were great and very friendly. The mushroom soup was salty and sour though, so I wasn't a big fan of that. Flat iron steak was cooked perfectly but a little liberal with the salt.
New restaurant that is worth checking out. Loved the Pepperoni Pizza with the chili honey! Also tried the Lamb Sirloin and Steak Tartare. Really friendly servers and managers too.
We've previously had a great experience at Murrietta's which is owned by the same group as this new concept and wanted to try this out! We went for a nice Friday lunch where I had the Rotisserie Chicken Club and my wife had the Halloumi. The club was served on a really tasty sourdough and featured lots of bacon. The Halloumi came with grilled zucchini, roasted peppers, arugula on ciabatta which she really enjoyed and thought it offered a unique taste over most sandwiches. Both came with french fries which were nice and crispy and we both enjoyed. One complaint was the $4 diet Pepsi I ordered was waaay more watery than even the typical fountain drink. Very light coloured and tasteless. We love the heated underground parking that makes visiting super easy. The restaurant is a nice open space which I would love to see with the garage doors open in the summer overlooking the park. Service was good.
We celebrated our dating anniversary at the new Borough Bar & Grill in University District. The ambience of this place gives New York City vibes as it's name sake implies. A comfy, trendy modern aesthetic serving a menu with something for everyone. The menu isn't large but it's well sourced in terms of options. There are appys, salads, pastas and a selection of main courses from the grill but also some larger, family style dishes like whole chickens, fish or a 40 oz prime rib. We shared everything and had the roasted beets with a dill yogurt dressing which was amazing. The charred cauliflower was delicious and that sauce was something else ...taste bud explosion. The Halibut steak was cooked perfectly albeit it was a small piece for the price of 43$. The pepperoni pizza with chili honey oil was such a good combo of flavors. The classic New York Sour cocktail was very enjoyable. We tried their cheese cake which was fluffy and tasty. They cover it in a salted caramel sauce which we weren't a fan of in the end but overall everything was delicious. We will definitely be back to try more dishes. A tip...the appy menu is small but you can also order veggie sides from elsewhere in the menu as a starter and it was perfect. Smaller portion sizes only impacted some of the dishes and is typical of a restaurant of this calibre. A nice, tasty new addition to the University District and we can't wait to go back with friends.
Perfect little patio outback, really yummy food and great service. Our server Imani gave us great food suggestions and awesome service! We will definitely be back!
Great customer service. Nice environment and our server was super friendly. Cocktail, appetizers, and desserts are awesome.
My boyfriend and I came here during a thunderstorm and we were just trying to find a pet friendly patio. We were able to sit in an area that was covered and our server, Kayla and the manager were extremely accommodating and the manager even wiped down the seats for us! Kayla is one of the most attentive servers I’ve encountered and she is super sweet and nice. The manager and Kayla both offered treats for my dog. It meant a lot with how accommodating they were being. The food came quick and the pizza and pasta were very tasty. Kayla even offered fresh ground pepper. The presentation was amazing. I found that all of the servers were very attentive and alert. I was looking for the washroom and a server approached me immediately to ask if I needed anything and pointed me in the right direction.
