Booker Gym Club

Story

At Booker Gym Club we run classes to help shape your child's future health. Established in 1987, all our instructors are British Amateur Gymnastic Association qualified coaches. We have held GymMark, a seal of approval from British Gymnastics since 2006, showing that we provide a safe, effective and child friendly club.

We run classes from toddlers through to teenagers.

Pre School
These structured classes follow a preschool plan and the children are rewarded with certificate and badges termly for achievable goals plus a Club Championships
Recreational
These classes take place after school hours and the gymnasts can take part in the BAGA award scheme and Club Championships
General
Children are invited from our recreational classes to take part in General Gymnastics and work up through these classes into our Competition Squads
Competition Squads
Gymnasts in the competition squads compete at Floor & Vault, and individual apparatus competitions across the year. Selected gymnasts going on to represent UKGymnastics at the World Championships in Orlando.
Special Needs
Children with special needs are welcomed and successfully integrated into classes with assistance from our qualified special needs instructors. We operate a no exclusion policy and accept all children regardless of age, gender, race or disability.
Freestyle Gym
This discipline incorporates aspects of other popular activities, such as Parkour, Free Running and Tricking. In these sessions the participants are given freedom to develop their own style, finding new and creative uses for traditional apparatus. This discipline draws upon influences from gymnastics, martial arts, tricking and breakdancing.
Tumbling
Tumbling is a series of up to 8 moves, completed fast along a tumble track. Gymnasts from Booker compete at National level across the year.
