Quaint, PH, lovely food, arrived on our bikes and had a lovely drink and meal, lots of nature by the canal, friendly staff, amazing swan decor, it's about five miles from Newport through the old railway track , great X
How rare to find a lovely boozer with a simple menu of quality home cooked food. Seven of us ate here to day and not one grumble. The food was comforting and tasty. I think it was the owner doing the cooking and her daughter on the bar. Very polite and attentive. They made us all feel welcome. Thank you
The boat inn In gnosall called in for a couple of pints with 2 couple’s,nice selection of drinks/ales.. Ended up having a meal with deserts and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Shall definitely return in the summer as there is a wonderful sitting area overlooking the canal ..

What a great traditional pub and even though we didn't try their food, the food being served looked delicious...definitely next time we chug along on the canal here again, we will have a meal for sure! This was a pit stop whilst on our canal boat but the ales and wine we enjoyed with our family who came and met us at this canal side pub were perfect. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.
Great pub with real character. First visit today, certainly not the last. Also great pizza!
Daughter booked table for my birthday dinner after been on a canal boat. Food was amazing and very tasty.. Staff were very nice and good and made us feel welcome and kids basket meal were amazing value for money...!!! I had tbone steak wow it was very nice and well presented.
