Had Sunday lunch today with my sister and our friend. Couldn't rate it high enough. The chicken roast dinner was absolutely delicious and the staff made us feel so welcome. We loved it. Many thanks to all the staff. Parking: Plenty of parking.
Food is great quality and presented well. The staff are really friendly and give great service, drinks arrived soon after ordering. Decor and atmosphere had a lovely feel to it. Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
Wonderful! A superb dinner for my birthday. We had three courses and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was, as always, impeccable. Thank you to the chef and staff for a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely return again.
One of the few places open on a Monday evening but that’s a good thing. Excellent location, food is superb especially the rib-eye steak! and the staff were very friendly. We had a sleeping 6 week old baby with us and they even whispered when near the table.Recommended dishesSteak and Chips
Excellent service, delicious food, menu that isn't run of the mill and roasts which are tasty huge and filling. Great atmosphere and friendly hospitable staff - can highly recommend as you can probably tell! Lovely walk from the canal for boaters too.
A very decent place to eat out. We went for mothers Day, and at £30 for 3 courses, we thought it was good value. Staff were great and very on the ball with ordering etc. Atmosphere was nice in the pub. You xan take dogs into the bar area too so we'll likely return with the dog.
Got recommended to go here but I don’t understand why. £14.50 for a microwaved burger you get in Weatherspoons for £5 and a Steak Pie with veg so over salted it was inedible. The setting is lovely the staff were nice so I’d say go for a drink, but don’t waste your money or time on the food.
Lovely place with a nice selection of cask beers that were well kept. The food was very tasty and arrived quickly. The staff were friendly. I would recommend it if you're in the area Vegetarian options: They do not have many vegetarian options
Had a great lunchtime meal at the Badger, just main courses and sweets. Both courses were very tasty and enjoyed by all four of our party. The service was second to none. Well done to all the staff involved.Food: 5/5
I had a one night stop over but could quite happily have stayed longer. My room, the plough was spacious, comfortable, modern and very clean. Travelling around the UK for work I've stopped in a many pubs and hotels, this one of the nicest and best value for money.Rooms: 5/5
