Our personal waitress for the visit was Liv …. Cannot praise her enough she listened and acted upon all our requests. Even took the best photograph of our family for years . Food was excellent, all arrived as ordered , together and hot. Made a good day great … will certainly be going again
Quality food proper traditional butchers produce. Well worth a breakfast here. We will be back. Big pot of tea. Need tea cosies tho keep the tea warm. A Lovely log fire going, just my fav.
I stopped here for lunch and was not disappointed this old mill house which is steeped in history where many of the old mill parts are still cleverly displayed . I opted for the steak pie option on the well laid out menu with a soft drink as I still had part of my journey to travel ."Very Tasty indeed " The bar person who served me was smartly dressed, very polite and even after she served my meal enquired to make sure I was enjoying the plate of food that was delivered . The playlist that was on throughout my stay was great.with a selection of songs that catered for all genre. The Mill was very clean, toilets were spotless . The bottom line. I'm glad I stopped at the Mill for lunch it was BRAW. Parking: There is disabled parking and free parking available Wheelchair accessibility: There is easy access for disabled.
Beautiful pub / restaurant. Fabulous large beer garden with a play area Set in a great location.
Nice staff, it has two vegan options. I loved the fire place!
Only ever really been outside which is beautiful but to have a drink here last night and they have great 0% beers and gin. Dogs welcome.
Nice food great staff beautiful restaurant outside lovely overall had a great time and very affordable. Kid-friendliness: Great little playground out side also kids meals available. Parking: Plenty of space to park.
Been today for my birthday with my family. We were accommodated, as our 14 year old autistic daughter needed seating in a quieter area, food was delicious and staff were attentive. The only issue was that there was only one female toilet, which had a damp smell, I'm not sure if it was the radiator, which needed cleaning. However, the experience of amazing staff and food, made up for this. Such a beautiful place, highly recommended, we will return. Kid-friendliness: We noticed a play area, which seemed a great touch for parents who want to sit outside and watch their kids have fun. Our daughter loved the trees and water, which kept her happy as she loves taking photos of them. Dietary restrictions: Our daughter dislikes certain food touching, we asked for the beans to come in a small pot, which they did..
Went for carvery. The food was nothing special, it’s just a well presented buffet. It lacked something, but we’ve had 100% better elsewhere. All I can really say is that it was bland. I can’t understand the hype. Definitely a mutton dressed as lamb culinary experience. Puddings had mixed reaction, the rum and raisin cheesecake just tasted a plain cheesecake with a few raisins in the base. Although we were squashed into a corner with plenty of empty tables, it still had Nice surroundings, nice service. But we definitely aren’t returning. Poor value compared to reality. Sorry
Lovely cosy pub, we tend to sit by the fire place we tend to order side plates from the starter menu and share, their cheesy garlic bread is gorgeous. Specials board has had some tasty treats, version and Thai chicken were lovely, always well presented food and the carvery is well cooked traditional foodFood: 3/5
