Boars Head

Only just moved to Braintree, had a bit of a pub crawl with my cousin on Saturday to see what the local pubs were like. Found the Boars head late in the afternoon and had a few beers, and returned there in the evening for some great live music and a few more pints. The staff are very welcoming, and the pub has a nice atmosphere, and live music. It's definitely the best pub we visited in Braintree.

Love the live band and karaoke nights at weekend. Staff are really good and working hard to keep the place tidy

Nice pub for a Friday/Saturday night out. Loved the pool table area. Cocktails on deal tasted like they had zero alcohol. Neither Daiquiri nor Blue Lagoon had any effect on anyone the night we had them. Total waste of money. Differently-coloured Sprite that what it was. There was a live show the night we went in but some drunk 18-19 y.o. spoilt the entire thing. They were on stage the entire time. It was very obvious that the guy playing the guitar was extremely annoyed. The security should made sure the crowd does not mess with those performing and the audience.

Not my go to pub,but really enjoyed playing pool when we were last in here an very friendly staff.

went in the pub with my type one diabetic friend to use the toilets as she struggles a lot with needing to go so much and the owner was a Disrespectful in many ways firstly by telling us to go shake our legs somewhere else because unlike you we clean our toilets. Not a very polite way to speak. Would not recommend to use this pub as very impolite owner

Not the band I expected new years eve wanted party songs disappointed

I've always loved this pub...and over the years it's only got better...Great selection of drinks a really nice beer garden brilliant staff...

Nice pub, great atmosphere but with the excellent band Dizzy Lizzy it was too crowded.

I love beer and LFC and what a great place to watch in the carpark
