This is one of the best B and B's I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Bunty and Martin are the most amazing hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. The full Scottish breakfast is amazing however, if your not that hungry, you can opt for the lovely omlet or just boiled eggs on toast, which are equally as good. The views from the breakfast room are picture perfect and, depending on the weather, can change to a number of different beautiful pictures throughout the day. However, no matter what the weather, it is nice and cosy in there in front of the beautiful coal fire. Sitting with the other guests at breakfast is great as you get to know all about their travels and share stories. It is lovely and quiet and the rooms and beds are superior in quality, which gives you the best nights sleep. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who is visiting the area.

This is the very best of Scotland. We stayed there for 6 nights and had the best time. The food was great. It was clean. Super rooms quiet. I can not tell you how wonderful it was. Since we stayed long we were suppose to have to move rooms which was going to be fine. But they worked it out no moving around. Wonderful and special people. All the guest were nice. I loved it. I am a very picky tracker and again super, super great !

Beautiful place. Spotlessly clean . Bunty Isabel and Martin are thee most wonderfully lovely people ever. Gorgeous scenery . Stayed a little under 2 weeks and we felt like family. Xx

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at Bomains as we were moving into a property a couple of miles from this B&B, we were so glad we did, as everyone is aware moving home is a stressful experience however knowing we had home comforts nearby whilst we were getting our own home into shape made such a difference, at the end of a tiring day of moving furniture and seeing to a dozen and one other things we were able to relax in comfort. For dietary needs I am diagnosed as coeliac, Bomains went to the trouble of buying in gluten free sausages and bread for my breakfast which is something that a lot of places would not even contemplate, alongside the fact that with the move we were able to leave our dirty clothes for washing and drying at a very small additional cost taking additional work off our shoulders. Thanks Bunty and Martin for your support during this period, we are now in our new home with a lot less stress than there would have been if we had not had the above support.
