Bluecoat was on my list of places to visit so I was really pleased to be able to pop in on my whistle stop visit to Liverpool. The shop is full of the most amazing things: ceramics, jewellery, fabrics… I could have spent a lot of money in there! My arrival coincided with the opening of the gate into the garden space, cafe and galleries. The cafe was very popular. I ordered an oatmilk latte charged extra for oatmilk‍ which was a really good drink. I was disappointed to find that although vegan cakes were available there was nothing gluten free other than 1Nakd bar and the offer of some gluten free bread for toast. The gallery spaces were very interesting but it was nice to see that there was also information about the original use of the building. I will definitely revisit in the future.
Beautiful craft and art, I am highly recommending to pop in
Amazing shop selling works by local & national perhaps also international artists. Very helpful staff. All items have clear background information. Prices range from very affordable I bought a great candle holder for just £19 to more high end. Higher recommended for shoppers and collectors
Some very thought provoking exhibits. Lovely garden and cafe.
A lovely building with an interesting history, which is more an arts centre. There is also a cafe on the ground floor.
The centre is cool. The exibithion of semi dead agonizing electronic animals less entrataining. Is that art? If so, I'm Leonardo Da Vinci
The lady at the reception was amazingly helpful, informative and friendly. Truly enjoyed my visit
This is a very relaxed venue that provides the opportunity to view art works and eat and drink on site. This is a unique historic venue that allows you to meet friends and to locate yourself whilst on a shopping trip to Liverpool.
Lovely building, free gallery spaces with interesting works. A nice cafe with a nice courtyard
Great place to browse and buy a unique piece of art, jewellery etc. Staff are always welcoming and able to give information about items. The quadrangle is a very pleasant area to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
