Superb canal-side location. You can sit outside or inside enjoy good pub food and selection of drinks whilst watching the world go by on the canal.

Service is very friendly and also prompt. All orders at the bar. Staff routinely clear tables and the whole area is very tidy.

Beautiful hanging baskets and cascades of flowers from window ledges and borders.

Small kids area with swings, slide and climbing frame which is slightly set back from the canal. Note though there is no fence to the canal so keep eyes on little ones if they go running.

Car park large with an accompanying popular camp site.

Some great walks along the canal from here too.

Excellent food and a very pictureseque setting by the canal.  Colourful hanging baskets make  the building attractive and welcoming. Staff pleasant.

Close to the canal with a good selection of beers. Only reason to lose a star is my personal  concept of a pub environment

Nice place to sit and a drink. Except for the cars beeping there horn as they over bridge... Not enough for kids to do but it is peaceful and sitting by the canal is nice
