The food was excellent the menu and flavors were really diverse and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Absolutely worth another trip.
First time visiting The Duck on the Pond although driving past it many times.nI am glad we decided to pop in for dinner. The staff were friendly and it had a warm and inviting atmosphere.nWe sat in the room on the right, and the room had an open fire but unfortunately it wasn't on. The room had lots of duck pictures and ornaments which we found pleasent and amusing.nWe had a couple of drinks and the food was amazing! Quick service and tasted delicious The homemade chips and the onion rings were my favourite!nWe will definitely be visiting again to sample the rest of the menu.nAn added extra was the music playing. We were wondering if it was a bar-person's own playlist or an album bought? Great tunes though! Made the experience of The Duck even better.nThank you!
Stopped in on a long hot journey, it just looked so irresistible. Had a lovely chill drink in the beer garden... great tunes playing! The pub inside is beautiful too, looks great for a winter's evening with board games available.
Just been for lunch. Had set menu. I had whitebait which was burnt. I sent back. This was replaced in no time. I really enjoyed it. 1 had pork terrine, 1 had bhaji. All really nice. 2 had sausage and mash, 1 had fish with curry sauce. All plates cleaned. Staff very helpful. Great disabled toilet. Ramp for easy access too. All in all a very good afternoon. Thanks
Fabulous pub with fabulous staff and fabulous food.nMet by a lovely, friendly member of bar staff.nHad the homemade beef burger with fries and slaw.nDelicious burger and definitely homemade. Didn’t wait long for it to be served, and it was piping hot.nI can definitely recommend stopping off here if in the area.
