"Blue Dolphin Holiday Park near Filey, Yorkshire is the perfect place for a family escape. Sitting on the county’s coast, it boasts a great view of the lovely coastline and there are a series of walks nearby. The park has indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a load of indoor and outdoor activities that everyone can get involved in. Entertainment is on hand throughout the day and by evening in the dedicated ShowBar venue, and the Brigghouse restaurant serves tasty meals throughout the day, with Cook’s Fish and Chips on hand, too. A freshwater fishing lake is great for a catch, and with Filey Beach nearby, and Scarborough six miles north, you’re not short of things to do just a short distance along the coast."

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location to visit surrounding areas. We had a savers caravan and it was nice and clean with fresh bedding. Swimming pool was great except it doesn't open until 9am - would have preferred an earlier swim! But otherwise it was a lovely holiday! Thanks Haven!
We ordered the silver caravan with Decking. Very cozy and warm. Beds are very cozy. Staff are friendly, there is lots to do here, parks, crazy golf, amusements, restaurants, bar, entertainment center, large supermarket on site, Filey is a 5-10 minute drive, Scarborough is the same. The beach is at same towns and same drive time. The beaches are very clean. We really enjoyed our time here, there were however a few families who were very nosey, but apart from this a great experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night holiday with our 2 granddaughters. We would like to express our gratitude particularly to the hardworking staff especially the entertainments team, their professionalism and preparation/costumes was second to none and the shows were brilliant like the Mad Hatters Tea Party. Kayleigh ? was a superb presenter and kept the audience involved but all presenters also were well prepared and hardworking. We had a fully adapted caravan which was pretty good apart from a couple of issues with a door not staying closed properly and more worryingly a dodgy oven shelf which kept collapsing which could be potentially dangerous. Overall though the holiday was brilliant and very enjoyable. Haven Serve was a great help and we would advise getting to know how to use this to order drinks/food to your table rather than queuing especially for families. Thank you Haven!! October 24-30 2022
Currently on the touring site. Most pitches not level so ramps needed. Very few water points to fill water containers and shocking speeds being driven by Haven security and facilities vans does the 10mph limit not apply to them. Plus points, very clean site, good value, well stocked , reasonably priced supermarket and good bus connection to Filey and Scarborough
Came here for 4 days . I only gave 4 stars because the arcade really really needs updated. Half of the machines are broken.. not a good idea for cups in the 2p machine as they might smash . However caravan was so comfy! Beds were fantastic! Everything was good about the caravan was fantastic!..10/20 minutes from Scarborough which is very ideal.
We just had 5 days at blue dolphin. We had an amazing time. My 4 year old didn't want to leave and said it was her best holiday and she wants to stay for 100 days. Next time we would definitely do a week, as felt like 5 days wasn't long enough. The site is a bit dated and could do with some tlc but this didn't impact our holiday. Caravan was perfect. We managed to do swimming each day that we pre booked, also got booked in on the day for the last day, although I was aware that many people got to the pool to sat it had been over booked and they couldn't swim. Think this really needs looking into, as a adult you can accept it. But people turning up to take their children swimming and the children being disappointed isn't right. Entertainment was great. Arcades fantastic. We enjoyed the soft play, parks. Kart hire. The go karts. Ate at the restaurant. We can't wait to book again for next year
Good place with a lot of activities but didn't have good organization. We booked activities for the kids and paid for them but the staff didn't help them just leave the supplies. The showbars had entertainments but not enough room for everyone. The bungalows are warm and in good condition
Staff are great shout out to the go karting guy and the arcade staff. the park was clean but needs an update nothing has changed in years and I mean years. One let down the caravan we stayed in wasn't cleaned the pots pans and cups all needed cleaning again the cupboards had weetabix crumbs and sugar inside and a empty packet of cigarettes. Other then that we had a great time. Playground: Outdated and parts broken
Very nice clean caravan . Batteries in our TV remote died the first night? But bedroom TV remote worked on both , TV was a bit small in the lounge for a Gold caravan and quite dirty in the sunlight, figer prints all over the screen and a few cobwebs on the light fittings? Site Spar shop very expensive , OK for emergency things make sure you have what you need with you . Pizza delivery very good but burger King a bit on the cold side otherwise we will be back .
Good facilities .shop very expensive!!! Caravan was clean and comfortable but outside the door was a pile of cigarette butt's not even cleared away.from the last occupants. Cheese grater was dirty and again not cleaned by previous occupants also there was no oven trays which we had to ask the maintenance man to get us , but they didn't fit the oven .overall a nice camp ,apart from a few niggles.
