Story

Situated near the seaside resort of Scarborough in North Yorkshire, Cayton Bay is an all action Holiday Park. The kids will go wild for the indoor Waterworld Fun Pool with water-jets, slides, fountains and flume.

Outside activities include an all-weather multi-sports court, an adventure playground, volleyball and basketball, plus a crazy golf course to keep the whole family happy. In the evening you can enjoy the brilliant cabaret, discos, dancing and lots more in The Oasis Showbar.

We also have new & used static caravans for sale at Cayton Bay Holiday Park, so you can holiday on the Yorkshire Coast time and time again!

Whether you are a holidaymaker wanting to try somewhere new or an Owner who loves your leisure time at Cayton Bay, there's something for you.

Lovely stay. Great facilities and activities on the site but also so much locally. All staff members who we came into contact with were polite, gave attention and time where needed, and looked like they enjoy their work.nHats off to Becca in the restaurant for running the bar single handedly at one point tonight while facing a busy queue. Rest of the team were busy elsewhere but she took it in her stride. Most people would get in a flap. Restaurant had a really easy allergy app too. Really great.
We had a fantastic weekend break at Cayton Bay and stayed in their beautiful new lodges at the Willows. The hot tub was a huge bonus!nSpecial thanks to the reception staff, Mimi and Karen. The cleaning team had found my purse in the lodge and Mimi very kindly kept it in their safe until I was able to return. All the staff we encountered were polite and helpful and we can't wait to come back for another visit!
Very pleasant!nLots to do on site to keep the kids entertained.nService was very good.nAll entertainment staff were very welcoming and friendly.nAccommodation was lovely.nSwimming pool was a tad cold to say it’s suppose to be heated but we still enjoyed our sessions.nVery impressed with all the activities put on through out the days as optional to book onto, perfect for when the weather wasn’t great.nThe food served at the restaurant and the take aways was lovely.nWe had a fab few days and would definitely recommend.
The staff across the site are generally nice and helpful.nThe shop doesn’t really have a lot you could cook with, it’s more for toys, confectionery and alcohol but there’s a large supermarket 4 miles down the road. It’s a good location for all the attractions in the area.nThe caravans aren’t too bad, seem clean enough.nHowever…nDrainage is a terrible problem, once it rains you have a bog to navigate to get to your caravan. Don’t bother with a pushchair and watch your footing!nThe swimming pool isn’t heated, however, the area around it is very hot, which probably makes the pool feel even cooler. Not suitable for babies or toddlers.
This is our second visit to the resort an once again couldn't fault it. The accommodation was clean and in good order. The activities and facilities on site were really good. Kids loved the pool and high ropes. The pool was 2 degrees colder than normal, we were informed of this on arrival at the pool and offered a free round of crazy gold if it was too cold for us to use the booking. We found the pool absolutely fine for temperature. All the staff across the site were helpful and approachable. Thank you for a lovely stay.
