We had a disabled caravan as requested. First impression of site was first class. Friendly staff and explained everything easily. Caravan was lovely and clean. Good non slip ramp, spacious rooms. Toilet was twice size expected. A selection of condiments would have made it extra special.
We had a brilliant time as a family making many memories. The staff throughout the park were fantastic 3 in particular were Lizzie, Tom and Kioni. All of which went above and beyond to help us. The facilities at the park were great for all age groups and the caravans were excellently equipped although one toilet roll for a family of 5 didn’t last long especially as there was two toilets in our caravan. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return again.
Visited with friends for Halloween. It was amazing. The accommodation was spacious, modern and immaculate. The facilities are really good, particularly if you have children. Loads to do near by and a cute little beach on the doorstep. Would definitely return :
This is a fantastic holiday camp. So much for kids to do. It has a pirates crazy golf. We tried it and it was absolutely brill although the pulley pontoon bridge is a killer on your arms and totally unsuitable for disabled people. We had ivy 44 a Kingsley caravan and although it was a newish caravan it it was very tight on space in the bedrooms. The beds and seating were very uncomfortable in our van Would recommend getting the wider caravans. Food and drink good but overpriced Acceptable wait time for food as well at cayton and cooked well. Very friendly staff. The camp is very dog friendly and when your drinks are brought to the table each dog gets it own bowl of water. I would go back here for sure but in a wider caravan. Well done staff.
We used the resort as a base to explore the area. We didn't use the entertainment as we were out most days. It's a typical Parkdean resorts, which is good. Negative points.. most caravans do not have parking space and whilst we didn't have a problem with parking there were days we had to go looking for a space.. The swimming pool is too shallow for swimming. No key drop when checking out early.. Poor lighting in the caravan. Time to upgrade to LED. Plus points. Place was clean. Staff were excellent and friendly. The place is as you would expect for a Parkdean resort.. Caravan was clean.
While overall the value for money isn't bad, they could especially in the current climate put a small package in each van with tea, coffee , and maybe a juice for children. On arrival as sometimes people arrive late and don't have these it would be a welcome sight. Also I feel its a little cheeky to expect extra payments for use of some facilities like the golf, climbing frame etc. I get it with the craft area but I do feel that it should be a little more inclusive in the price. Entertainment is a very varied range and helps to keep the children occupied. Caravan was clean but just if I was to be picky and I am a few areas could have been improved. Marks on curtains and missed dusty corners which if left will undoubtedly become bigger issues. But overall can recommend the park for a family holidays
The acts were really, really good, probably the best I've ever seen at a caravan park, honestly they were great, and props to that! It would've easily been a 5 star, apart from that we were missing both the toaster and the kettle from the caravan, as well as the extra Duvet for the 8 birth caravan. Bar is pretty fast serviced, and the arcade is up to date and new, caravan was modern and nice, would come baxk
Lovely clean park however the restaurant was expensive for instance I paid for a dessert of "two scoops "of ice-cream costing 4.99 and each scoop was 3 cm in diameter which we thought was a joke.? I also upgraded to a caravan for its lounge fire ect which was new for 2022 but the fire was an LED electric fire with colourful lights but no heat ! Had the electrician out and he said oh it must be set when the room is low temperature,I've googled this fire and it has a controller but there is no controller in the caravan that's because the fire has been set that if the room goes above 18 degrees. It won't come on so although this caravan has a fire you can't use it !!! All lights but no heat so they have deliberately kept the controller so you can't put on heat. And someone has put there foot through the door on the bedroom, sweet rubbish is under the sofa, and the caravan although says it's 8 birth I would say it's a small caravan but it's new. Park is nice and clean but we're on the willows area of the park so far away from the main complex had to drive there on an evening also the swimming pool looks massive on the website pictures is actually very small.in reality! And shallow .
Spent the week on the site. There was so much for the kids and adults to do. Entertainment at night was brill. Location was great. Close to Scarborough and our favourite Filey Beach. Only downside was that our caravan smelt so bad of cigarettes from a previous holiday maker. And the caravan itself wasn't very clean, however The site responded quickly. It took two cleans and a lot of frebreez but got there in the end. Enjoyed our stay very much. And we would return for sure. Playground: Playground was for little ones and older ones too. Great challenges Restrooms: Were clean and had plenty loo paper. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly site. Great pathways to go walkies. And well lit up at night.
Lovely site, it never felt too busy, none of the chavs that you often get at holiday camps. Evening entertainment wasn't anything special, but if you fancy a grown-up drink, there's a pub across the road . Short walk to the beach, but not accessible to folks with mobility problems. Great site in a lovely part of the world
