We visited the blue bell during our stay and Standbrook Abbey. We went on there pie night and after being told how amazing the steak pie was we both opted for that. The food was incredible and fantastic value for money. More importantly to me though was the service, the lady who served us was engaging witty and had a lovely warmth about her. It’s not hard to see why the pub is so successful. Looking forward to shooting a wedding there so I can pop in for a pint :)

Warm and friendly pub. Huge selection of food. I did ask for no mushrooms and got a huge helping of mushrooms but apart from that I can't fault the food. Huge portions and great prices considering the quantity. And an upside down xmas tree?! Will visit again if I'm ever in the area.
