Loads of car parking, super dog friendly and the food was amazing! The weather was lovely so we sat in the garden and my dog had a snooze under the table. They didn't have any Appletizer but they mixed me some apple juice and soda water which was delicious. Most of the food was around the £10 mark and during the week they do some £6 sandwiches for lunch. Highly recommend!

Very few people in the restaurant but we were made to feel that they were squeezing us in. Ordering and delivery of drinks was very slow Food delivery was slow and the naked beans on the children's plate were cold and had to be reserved Condiments were not offered and not on the table so another call back in the waitress. A chap came to clear the table and take a sweet order - he took some of the plates away leaving some - we expected him to return to finish clearing and eventually deliver the sweets. That didn't happen so eventually we gave up and when I went to pay the bill I very quietly said when asked I felt the service was poor - no reaction. No point saying anything to Marstons as they don't care. Turn the music down Improve the service Listen to your customers

Ordered a mixed grill (which they substituted a pork and a lamb chop for a sausage and a slice of ham from the carvery) and there was a gritty stone in the rocket salad. They obviously don't wash the rocket correctly. I immediately informed the waitress who disappeared with it to the kitchen to investigate. No one has returned after 20 minutes. We are being ignored. I assume they hope we will just go away. Abysmal service, I'm lucky I didn't break a tooth.

First time we've been in a year at least, liking the new decor and general set up. A fairly busy Saturday lunchtime, had to book, so food wasn't super quick but service was friendly and helpful, our party of 7 enjoyed their meals and we'll be back again much sooner next time.
