Food was great! We ordered 3 course meal and they were all satisfying. We ordered a side dish vegetables but our waiter wasn't able to put it together with our orders. So, it arrived as we were able to finished our dinner. And we eneded up not eating much of it. The good thing though, they didn't charge us with it anymore. So, I would like to thank them again for that. We had some mini desserts and it comes with either tea or coffee. The sizes for the desserts were just good enough if you're counting calories or just wanted to have a bit of something sweet after your mains. Wish they wouldn't use a latte cups for their teas though. I don't know. It's just me not used to it. But, all in all we had a great time and we enjoyed our food. We'll definitively be coming back here again. Cocktails and mock tails are great as well.
Cocktails 2 for £12. Meals adverised as 'A la Carte' but don't be fooled that the portion will be small, because they are not, I couldn't eat all mine. Wide selection of choices on the menu. Service is fast with friendly staff. Ambiance is lovely. Would recommend and booking a table is advisable
Very pleasant birthday meal with Ego's 2 for 1 birthday deal. And another visit for a birthday which again was very much appreciated
Having been to Ego numerous times before last Lockdown brought that to an end, I was looking forward to going again with the Supper Club group I belong to. I'm sad to relate that the food side has slipped. Myself and one other had the lamb rump, which has become a favourite of us both at another local, family run establishment with superb outside eating which has become a regular haunt since outdoor eating came in. Ego lamb rump was sadly disappointing: overcooked not pink, tougher and less taste than consistently achieved at the other venue. Course grain, cheaper cut of meat not so well cooked. The ladies who had the chicken dish were happy. One lady had Paella and found it was "disappointing; too much rice, too little interesting content and too expensive for what it was". We didn't complain, but probably should have. Service and presentation were both fine. Ego has been on our regular list of local venues. It comes off until we hear some positive reports from diners we know. A shame, as it is a pleasant venue. Hopefully standards will return to where they were; we shall try it again then.
superb Sunday roast. the service was amazing, our waitress was absolutely professional, polite, friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. absolute credit to Ego! As for the food.... delicious. can't believe I haven't been there for lunch before!! Will definitely be backFood: 5/5
Beautiful location, great atmosphere, delicious food. Unfortunately didn't have a good experience with the service as the staff kept disturbing and asking regular questions
Once again, absolutely fabulous!! The decor makes you feel like you're on holiday, the staff are lovely and warm, the food is out of this world!! Prices are reasonable for the huge portions you get! Cocktails and mocktails are delicious, no scrimping on the alcohol in them. One of the best restaurants around!!
Lovely food and presentation. We were able to watch the food being cooked from our table which was nice. The main menu is a little pricey but I was extremely full after my meal so it was worth it in my opinion. I will be going back. I would recommend signing up to their loyalty programme as it will make the main menu a bit more affordable. Overall a great experience and attentive staff.
We were on our way out of Worcester Saturday afternoon looking for a late lunch and decided to try Ego for the 1st time, Interior is beautiful, we were met and seated straight away, it has a lovely warm ambiance, it was a few minutes before 16:00 hrs but our waiter Josh told us we could either choose from lunch menu or main menu, they have a nice selection of drinks including cocktails and beers. We both had Steak with fries, I had pepper sauce, For desserts we had a Warm Frangipane & Raspberry Tart with Vanilla pod ice cream & raspberry Coulis, and Sicilian lemon tart with Chantilly cream & raspberry coulis, they were so light and flavorsome, perfect. Josh was great, very professional and attentive. There were large groups having afternoon tea, celebrating birthdays, but the lay out allowed us to feel very relaxed. Thanks for your great food and service, we will be back. Kid-friendliness: They have sturdy high chairs for toddlers which were cleaned down thoroughly after use, as were the tables and chairs and salt & pepper grinders. Parking: Large car park, well lit as it was dark when we left.
I don't think we have found anywhere in Worcester that has such a widely ranged menu. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the ambience was excellent. Personally, I can't wait to go back, hell, I'd live there now if I could. Please, go, try.Food: 5/5
