The Swan at Whittington

I love this place. I usually stop for Sunday lunch on the way back from visiting South Wales. Good service, good food close to the M5 so no major detour. Its a shame I have to drive away really.

Brilliant bar and restaurant, very attentive staff. Good selection of wines and beers. Menu is varied and uses local produce, always seems very popular. Close to M5 junction 7 and Worcester town centre. Great place to chill out over a glass of wine and enjoy the atmosphere.

Came here for dinner on a date and was extremely disappointed and embarrassed. The waiter acted very awkward regarding my disability and only spoke directly to my date. I ordered the vegetarian Green Thai curry which was nothing like a Green Thai. It felt like they had just chucked loads of random vegetables in and hoped for the best. There was asparagus, broccoli, yellow and red peppers. The sauce was watery with no flavour or spice and the rice was clearly microwaved. It came with a side of prawn crackers which I had to remind them when asked if we wanted anything else with our meals. Not once did we have table service to ask of we were enjoying our meal. Very disappointed as I have fond memories of sharing meals in the conservatory with family. Think twice before you eat here!

Good sized pub just off the roundabout for the M5 motorway junction for Worcester South. Large car park but which does get busy with people picking up kids from the school across the road. Very pleasant interior with a conservatory. Food lead but with a good range of real ales. Friendly staff.

Was quite a busy Sunday, we had already pre-booked a table so didn't have any issues having to wait. All the food was very good and came out pretty quick out the kitchen. The staff were great, there was always someone close by if needed. They are also dog friendly which is great too. Will definitely go back again.
