We were served one starter which was cold and was re- served. Main meals were ok, nothing special, although my home made steak pie was nice. We had however chosen the evening set menu of two courses of £12.95, but we're later presented a bill for the individually priced meals. This was however corrected when I queried it. Pleasant surroundings though and friendly staff.

GREAT VEGAN OPTIONS!!! We had a really wonderful family meal at The Fox Inn. I had the Chef’s Kitchen Garden Bowl - Roast baby potatoes, butternut squash, red pepper, red onion, asparagus and tenderstem broccoli with baked aubergine stuffed with ratatouille and blackberry balsamic dressing. It was seriously yum! And fully vegan - no animals harmed in the making of this dish! :-) My only complaint was I thought it could have been a bit bigger, but hey - quality over quantity, right? And I had some of my aunties chips to plug the hole - REALLY good chips too! So, I thought I was full, but then I saw another vegan option on the dessert menu and felt I had to at least try it! - Chocolate & Coconut Milk Torte (£5.49) - A date & nut base, Belgian chocolate & coconut milk torte with vanilla ice cream. My sister had the same and said she would never have known that it was vegan. It was absolutely spot on! So delicious I ordered the same again! (What a greedy pig, right! :-p). Yeah, really impressed. And the staff were lovely too. Really highly recommended :-) GREAT VEGAN OPTIONS!!!

Beaitiful Pub with delicious food. Lovely staff. Tried rump steak. Perfectly cook and delicious. Fully recommended. Check out website for great deals.

Party of 12 last night for my birthday. Excellent service! We had the festive menu which was both varied & great food! The staff were friendly & very attentive. Will go back again soon.

A nice pub with reasonably priced food. One of the nicer chains, in my view. They often have offers on their website, which the staff aren't always aware of, but that that they do honour on the day (they'll look it up).
