I've been going to The Old Rec for quite a few years now. The menus change with the seasons, including the cocktail menu. The care and love for ingredients and preparation means everything tastes amazing. You can have an informal lunch or a slap up dinner for a special occasion. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I will never tire of going and introducing people to the tasty delights.

The food looked good and the restaurant busy on a Saturday night, upstairs a bit quiet though and the beer a bit pricey for that part of town.

Off the train in Worcester decided to give this place a go, great discovery, pleasant interiors, very good service, hubby's fish & chips was very fresh and tasty, however the portion was like off the kids menu, smallest fish & chips plate I have ever seen, peas super salty. My pumpkin, saffron & orange soup was delicious again very salty. My mulled wine was had way too much sugar. Surprised to find an extended Gin list which was impressive
