Excellent meal. Can not fault it in anyway. Good sized portions, very well presented and very tasty. Atmosphere was cozy, warm and relaxed. Staff welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended. Toilets clean but need a little TLC.
We had a lovely Sunday lunch on 5th June to celebrate mum-in-law's 88th birthday. The food, environment and service were excellent. Only two small dampeners: this pub had no Sherry !, her favourite tipple; the wheelchair ramp was very short and steep. Stock up with Harvey's Bristol Cream ... and we'll be back.
Well worth a visit food was excellent and you got huge portions wished we'd never had a starter as we couldn't eat all our main staff was very welcoming and friendly n George the dog was superb helped clear ur plate for you brilliant would definitely reccomend and certainly be going back
Our family went as a Birthday party, the food and the staff were excellent to say the least, we will be going again , highly recommended.
I have never left a review for a restaurant before but feel compelled to after our experience yesterday. My starter, main and dessert were simply superb and the service, despite it being busy, was attentive and friendly. Thoroughly recommended.
Sunday lunch, booking is a must. Very busy, clean and pleasant. Menu was standard Sunday pub fare but the quantities were generous and everything tasted very nice. Children's meal were enough for an adult! Will book again. Fair selection of real ale beers and craft beers.
Table of six, starters past, came to main course after almost an hour which is fine and then came out to tell me 1 dish wasn’t fit to serve and would I like to choose something else, all the meals were ready, so it was either eat alone or let everyone else’s food sit until mine was ready. One owner straight fobbing me off with excuses but I know good food and better restaurants. I will never return
Excellent food. First class service. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Reasonable pricing structure. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would recommend
