Very comfortable with fantastic food and attentive but unobtrusive staff. A little upmarket, but not exclusive. Highly recommended

Went for my dad's birthday, and there was a good choice of foods on the menu with prompt service. Interesting and delicious selection of dishes, nice atmosphere. The only criticisms I had was the quite small selection of lagers and ales, but what was available was good.

Two of my friends were involved in a motor accident. The staff at The Advocate took them in until I could come and pick them up. The staff went beyond hospitality to make them comfortable . I would like to say a huge thankyou for all that you did for my friends. Have a wonderful Christmas to you all at The Advocate.
