Excellent range of cask ales. Dog friendly. I arrived after 2pm on Sunday so no meals but the menu looked promising

Wow, excellent food. Steak pie in a class of its own. Warm and cosy too. Bar staff were so cheery, made us all feel welcome and we were so well looked after. Fine selection of real ales too.

Much the best meal and drink I've had there. Game pudding with veg. A pint of porter. Fantastic VFM
