Absolutely delicious Sunday carvery. Choice of 2 meats today , pork and beef. All homemade. Fantastic. Treacle sponge with ice cream AND custard for Hubby! Loved it. Can't wait for another visit.
Been to this pub several times now for Sunday lunch. It does get busy so get there early or book. Two different varieties of meat to choose from, veg carrots cabbage, peas, mash roasting and Yorkshire.Local ales Timothy Taylor and various other beers.Friendly staff and good service.
A great little find the pub/restaurant, it’s a proper pub, none of this chain lark, a great feel when you walk in, priced very well aswell, 3 cokes a carling pint, 2 packs of crisps £12 the food smelt fantastic but we wasn’t eating as we was just stopped for a drink, definitely will next time we pass! Shut on Mondays though! Nice garden outside, few apple trees A good traditional pub, if I lived local I’d be in there all the time
Fantastic meal, should of taken a photo before we started. Excellent service.!! Dog friendly pub, bonus!!!! My wife had the Steak & Guinness Pie and the kids and I had the Flame Grilled Bacon & Cheese Burger.
Really good home cooked food on sunday Veg etc changed and filled regularly.
Great music every other Sunday great beer
Cosy, friendly country pub with craft ales from the Horncastle Brewery. We had a lovely carvery and I highly recommend their treacle sponge. The pub is dog friendly so no need to leave your pooch at home if he has basic manners.
Great place and great people running it very friendly atmosphere and Blues afternoons are amazing. Graham is a great guy and staff reflect that same hospitality to. Food was great also I had steak with peppercorn sauce loved it!
Went for lunch and it was very nice my sister had fish chips and mushy peas and said it was lovely I had a burger and chips and it was nice,we will go again.xx
This is the best place for a Sunday roast as the carvery is excellent! The staff are lovely and friendly who give a great service. I highly recommend giving this a try as I have tried numerous carveries and this one is definitely the best due to home made cooking with beautiful gravy...yummy! :-
