Great Ice rink, Olympic sized and well maintained. Really friendly staff and very clean including the toilets! Skates can be blunt so feel free to ask for a sharper pair. Completed the 3 day intensive skate Excellence course too!
We had a thoroughly enjoyable time ice skating and staff were really helpful! Only negative was on the website it said the “ penguins “ skate aids for small children were free , yet they were £7 an hour each which bumped the price up from £60.40 to £74.40 for 4 of us. So next time I think we will be going to another venue which will be £61 for everything included!
Some parts of this ice rink was nice but it was ruined a little by the service of a staff member. Took far too long to come to the desk even after ringing the bell. There was no apology for the wait and just took the skates without a word. The ice wasn't the best quality and there was some skaters going stupidly fast with no team member to be seen to slow them down.
Don't bring your skates,Bring your boat with you. Instead of ice you skate on water. Manager - waste of time, rood, if you do not have a recipe Don't even think about refund, as the staff who issues you with skates takes it away. Be aware and avoid
Decent size skating rink, wasn't packed, so there was plenty of space. I'd say price good for 2hours. Skates were a bit "tired", clips were opening on both mine and my sons. But I'd recommend visit, much better than most winter wonderland rinks that are tiny and packed
We booked the three day Skate Excellence course for half term and found it to be great value. A half hour ice skating lesson followed by access to the rink for as long as we wanted and a meal day. Every member of staff we came into contact with from reception to the coaches were really friend and helpful. The service was a little slow in the cafe and we'd have liked some healthier options to choose from but otherwise it was OK. Going forward, the pricing for a general session plus skate hire is expensive but it's something we really enjoy doing as a family
Was very dirty and I was over charged wasn’t advised how to book online in future either, hated paying for additional aids for children, it was really packed aswell and no first aid for woman who broke her arm. The toilets were disgusting probably worse I’ve ever been too
Way to busy, took over an hour to get in, then another half an hour to get ice skates, then only to be told they've run out of my size! Literally lasted 5 min on the ice due to skates hurting. Over priced, under staffed.
Fantastic atmosphere leading up to Christmas. Great value for money as we skated from midday up to nearly the end of the early session. Paid £6 the day before for 40 minutes on a temporary outdoor skating rink that was 15m x 10m! Don't complain about the prices here! My daughter loved it we'll definitely be back.
My Family loved their trip to the rink. It did get a bit hectic at times. I enjoyed a nice hot coffee, when I finally got it. The poor lone staff member was snowed under, and she never lost her cool once. Good lass. Put more staff on at busy times management
