It is in desperate need of upgrading. And when I booked it I asked if the rooms were wheelchair accessible and was told yes. No its not. 3 flights of stairs to my room. Good job my daughter didn't have to come with me! I definitely wouldn't stay here again. Only good thing is staff were friendly.

Really terrible experience, broken toilet, bed bugs, not clean, warm water, no spoon for making tea and kettle not working?? Also only one light working in room, unhelpful staff!! Stay away! Pay extra and stay somewhere better!

I think one star is being generous!! Had to leave within an hour and half of me being there. Soon as you walked in its stunk like someone has been smoking in the room for 5years and not opened a single window. Old furniture with stains, the bedding was damp and musky from the room soon as I sat on the bed I felt itchy nonstop. Absolutely filthy. The man was kind enough to give me my money back only, I just had to pay for that one night or I don't get any money back at all. Obviously I paid for that one night. So at half 11 adhering doing a 12hour shift I was driving the streets of Birmingham looking for another hotel - the rowton. Sooo much nicer and cleaner , I would certainly recommend that hotel , it's literally 10 minutes away. Do not stay here!!

The location was nice and a minute away walking to mcdonalds. The room itself was not so clean as my friend got bug beds on his bed but the staff kindly gave him another room. If there was not any bugs this hotel could have been great as the room was quite nice and spacious

The Best Inn Hotel is as bad as it gets. BEST it certainly IS NOT! So here we go , my horrendous and memorable (not for the right reasons) one night stay went like this.- On receiving my room key i walked up the stairs and was instantly hit the smell of marijuana. I finally found my room 460 after walking a labyrinth of corridors with filthy carpets. On opening the room door I was transported into a time capsule dating back to the 1940's, oh yes and the strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. The room was very dirty, the arm chair rests were black with dirt and as to taking my shoes off, not a chance, my socks would of got dirty. I thought i'd make a cup of tea. No kettle! So then i went to turn the TV on. No remote! Oh well, a nice bath? No plug! No hand soap in the dispenser! Time for bed and a good nights sleep? Your having a laugh. There was an old mattress with springs that dug into my back though, so not much sleep after all. So a big shout out to the Birmingham Best Inn for seeing me out of £30, they should of paid me that in compensation for a terrible stay. But as we know, your not allowed to complain in this day and age because when you do your accused of harassment and the police are called. LESSON! ALWAYS, ALWAYS CHECK THE REVIEWS!!!!!
