I recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Oldbury Birmingham and was pleased with my experience overall. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, offering a good level of quality for a relaxing stay.nOne of the highlights of my visit was the delicious pizza served at the hotel's restaurant. Not only was the taste excellent, but the price was very reasonable too. It's definitely worth trying during your stay! Additionally, the full English breakfast was truly outstanding, with a variety of options including cereals, fruit, and an assortment of hot items. It was a great way to start the day.nWhat truly stood out to me was the exceptional kindness and attentiveness of the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable and comfortable. Their dedication to customer service is commendable and greatly appreciated.nThe only issue I experienced during my stay was the noise coming from the nearby motorway. The hotel's proximity to the road resulted in noticeable car noise, which could be disruptive at times. This is something to keep in mind for light sleepers.nIn summary, if you're looking for a hotel with comfortable rooms, tasty dining options, and attentive staff, Ramada Oldbury Birmingham is a solid choice. The full English breakfast is a must-try, and the pizza is simply delicious. Just be aware of the potential for noise disruption due to its location near the motorway.
Clean bedding, serviettes were full.nnThere is distinct musky order on entry in to the room. Mattress with too many broken springs. Barely Luke warm water in the shower. Central heating / cooling not working. Although heater and fan are in the room.nnUnlikely to revisit.
I stayed at the Ramada in Oldbury, Birmingham, for 3 nights.nnThe breakfast was mediocre with the same items everyday. The selection for those eating halal, vegetarian or vegan is not great. In comparison, local competitors offer wider varieties especially for vegetarian eaters. The food cooked was cooked to a good standard.nnThe lobby and hallway had an unusual smell and on multiple night the stench of cannabis was present. The hotel as a whole requires a deep clean and renovation and sometimes has unsavoury characters.nnInside the room, there were ripped carpets, damaged walls and substandard lighting. The bathroom had signs of damp on the walls and needs to be renovated. The extractor fan inside the bathroom wasn’t working and the flush was broken. There was signs of mould around the shower and sink. The shower also had quite low pressure making having a shower difficult. We were given two small towels, two larger towels, hand soap and body soap.nnParking could be an issue as many drivers decide to take two bays. This forces drivers to park around the back of the hotel, however, the pathway to the access point is usually covered with obstacles.nnThere was a constant issue with the keycard not working which often required me to go downstairs to the lobby.nnThere was little privacy. The door lock was broken, the windows can be looked through from outside.nnStaff acted as every question and request was an issue and sometimes did not look professional.nnThe location of the hotel is quite good with an ALDI, Asda with fuel station and the M5 nearby.nnI would only recommend staying at Ramada if you are only staying for one to two nights, or if it at short notice. There are better competitors nearby such as the Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express.
We stayed here for two nights.nnSaturday morning, 6am - fire alarm goes off. False alarm it stops.nSunday morning, 7am - fire alarm goes off and yet again it's a false alarm and it stops.nnStaff have a well rehearsed answer that someone using too much body spray sets the fire alarm off. How would they ALL know?nnThe staff are nice, but I generally think this place is being run into the ground by owner. Please take a look at mould in our shower. The beige photo shows the tiles haven't been cleaned in a while.nnThe hotel needs a deep clean.nnWill not be staying here again.
Was booked into this hotel for work.nnThe hotel is in a good location with plenty off choices for food near by with asda and aldi stone thrown away.nnThe rooms are good size. With big beds and the bathroom are well set out the showers are lovely and get lovely and warm.
