We had a lovely time camping here in May. It is a beautiful setting and an easy 15 minute walk into Arundel. The facilities were great - there is a fully-equipped kitchen area and the tents are all set up for you. You just bring bedding, clothes and food. Great if you don't own all the camping gear but still want the camping experience. The weekend price includes a cooked meal on the Friday evening (delicious stew made on the fire) followed by marsh mellows for toasting and a cup of hot chocolate. On the Saturday morning, each tent receives a breakfast basket with all the items you need for a full English, with fresh bread, butter and milk, all produced fresh by local farms. The Billycan staff are relaxed and friendly but at the same time extremely helpful. Great for families with young children or for a group of adults looking for a weekend away.
