This GP practice is an absolute joke. I was meant to have a call with a GP, the lady rang me at 9:09 Am but missed the call. I rang back straight away at 9:10 but was told by the receptionist that the doctor was now on another call? She did not even bother to wait 2 minutes before moving on to the next call. I have never come across a GP practice like this.
I'm trying to find the words to use to describe how bad this service is! I phoned at 8am every Monday to Friday , the phone would be of the hook until 9am where a female receptionist would then answer just to tell you to phone back at 8am the next day or go to the A&E! 4 weeks I had this for , couldn't even speak to the doctor! in the end I've signed up with a different doctor.
After trying for days to get an appointment, l finally got one. Receptionist told me l had an appointment at 10am and nurse would phone me before then. I was let in and told by someone waiting in there that all morning appointments were phone call only. Practitioner nurse called me in an argued with me about what receptionist would have said. I said l had no new cough and no temperature and had followed rules as per doctors covid 19 symptoms on answer machine. The nurse persisted in repremanding me for turning up at surgery and l insisted l had followed rules and said receptionist never said phone appointments only. She may might just as well call me a liar. I became fed up of the accusations so left. Five minutes of wasted time by a nurse who just wanted to degrade me. I will not tolerate this as a customer/patient so l will change to a different doctors surgery.
My dads diabetic and had problems with our old doctors, ever since we've changed I've noticed a change in his attitude. I've never seen him so happy now that a practice is looking after him properly. Can't fault this practice, and they're staff absolutely brilliant.
168 calls to get through from 8am to be told at 826 fully booked. Can have a phone consultation on sunday from pen medical Centre. this surgery as gone down hill AND NEEDS INVESTIGATING so many bad reviews
I would rate it a 0 if I could. Firstly you can never get through to them to even make an doctors appointment they just let the phone ring out. Secondly, when they actually decide to pick up the phone they never have appointments and always ask you to call back the next day or advise you to go to the walk in centre if it's an emergency. This has been on going for about a year now. I will be changing doctors!!
Nobody answers the phone,it's very stressful holding on and when you do get through they tell you there are no appointments left. This can go on for days until you can finally get an appointment. They are literally gone in 5 minutes. How can they take enough calls in such a short period to render all the appointments taken? How can that be possible? I'm thoroughly fed up with it all!
WORST doctors on ashmore park. One member of staff in particular, VERY rude and ignorant. Staff are under qualified to do simplest tasks like change address over telephone. Never answer the phone to patients, and strangely can never booked appointments in advance. Wish i never registered to this doctors!.
I WILL REPORT THIS SUGERY FOR SURE. First of all we registered 1 year ago. I had just 2 appointments with doctor there. .. Once when I start loosing my hairs, I felt really poor. I was sleepy all day and night. I was sure something is wrong. Doctor said I tight my hairs to strong. I said him propably is because I have thyroid problems and propably I need increase my meds. Also I had cardiological problems... I finished without any meds. Thanks God my mam give me some. Even he didn't gave levotroxine which I take everyday .. Second appt In January. Me and husband 41°C. Hard to travel. Vomiting plus ditrohea ...Doctor give me antibiotic for 3 days ... But even if my English is not perfect I SAID Him I Can't Take pelicilin... I finish with amoxiclav this actually includes Pelicilin‍. My husband don't get anything cos he is smoking and that is a problem husband smoking 20 years I was sure after this 2 visits is not right place to me. Doctor have max 3 minutes for you and then he stand up and open the doors. Your visit is done. Now I try to book appt coś my meds are finished. My mum get none. I need them everyday. I'M NOT ABLE TO BOOK APPT NEARLY ONE WEEK. ALL APPT ARE GONE. I never meet so strange sugery
Finally managed to get through today, it's only taken since Monday, reception told me I couldn't see a doctor unless he phoned me first, I have been trying to get a pneumonia jab for over two years but they keep telling me that the hospital haven't sent any!!!??? What the hell are the doctors doing now, I am considering moving practice,,,, useless is the word that comes to mind
