My wife lived in Lindfield briefly so we got to know the local pubs well including the Bent Arms. It really is a First rate pub and the food is fantastic! I love the warm feeling about this pub and even though the local people in there are strangers to us, they are just like old friends. Lovely place! Just lovely!
I love this place. If I didn't have to work I would sell my house and live here. The food is excellent, the cellar well-kept, the bedrooms clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a weekend away from home and work, the Bent Arms is as close to perfection as you can get. Visit once, and you'll keep going back. See if you don't!
We went as part of a large group of people and had chosen our dishes in advance. The service was excellent, and the food was very good. Portion sizes were generous. The soup starter was especially good.
love a cheeky pint. however they were only selling half pints!!! I was furious. came here to get away from the wife and the newborn and they weren't selling pints!! I walked out in shame. I was going on strike as a customer. went to the bent legs instead. much better service. actually has a functioning toilet too
My partner and I had great starters to start with, when we had our main mine was great as I had scampi and chips and my partner had noocchi and chicken in a seasoned Tom sauce, that wasn't very good or nice, it was also cold in parts. When we complained, the staff was sympathetic to us, and we were told that the chef would come to us, after waiting 45 mins to an hour there was no sign of the chef, a bit of a let down as we had been there many times . Will be a while before we go back.
Great meals and friendly service we have been many times. Great food 100 percent recommend
This is a nice pub with welcoming staff. I've only eaten here once, which was great, but I can't vouch for all of the menu... Yet. I've been back, which is a positive view for them. They have large fires here, but on my rather damp and cold day they weren't lit, which was a shame. There's parking at the back, and a garden area.
Nice pub for a meal and drink. Very popular for lunch so booking a table is recommended. Located in the village high street with parking behind the pub. Excellent chips.Service: 5/5
Cosy pub for a New Year's Eve pub lunch. Great setvice and good food. It's a bit pricey for children's meals, though. A children's menu would be welcome.
Bent is very fine. Boss responsibly sorted noisy soppy local legal youths amazingly rapidly 1st reluctant moan long while back, nothing since. Very fine place to eat & drink, pleasant staff too.
