Astounding food. The dry-aged steak is simply stunning, a proper steak one where you don't need to add sauces to make it palatable.... eat it as it comes rare to medium rare along with 2 lovely sides the veg is amazing - unmissable. Tapas to start, plus superb deserts and wine all add to a most enjoyable evening. Great buzz to the place too.
It has been on my list for a while and I am now gutted I waited so long to visit Don Txoko. One of my new favourite restaurants. The service was amazing and the menu was top drawer. I can't wait to come back and try more!

We sat outside which was fine although tables a bit wobbly. Our meal was good and service was great. We felt the Triple cooked patatas were a bit salty , however, the other dishes were tasty and nice. Would go again, but need a steak partner to try one of their steaks which are on display inside.Food: 5/5
The albondigas and pulpo dishes were outstanding. Service from Em and Izzie could not have been better. As ever we were made to feel like valued customers and we will certainly be returning soon.Food: 5/5
Absolutely outstanding! We'd been lucky to get a table on their first night opening, then again in December 2023. Food is excellent, delicious steak, gorgeous wine. The staff were friendly and talked us through the menu options expertly. Definitely going back when we're next in Norwich
Wonderful food and service. The sharing steak in particular was amazing and choosing your steak to share was a fabulous experience. The sharing whole fish looked delicious too! My photos are not the best but you can see the quality of selection. The tapa and starters and nibbles were excellent too, as was the Basque cheese selection and my partners dessert. Not the cheapest place but I'd say the quality means it's great value. Very lovely staff, we even had a brief little chat with the two chefs who made our food as it was coming to the end of the night, lovely guys. Really nice atmosphere, delicious food, great service.
Another super meal at this amazing restaurant. The croquettas and charcuterie board were both very tasty, the octopus on very thinly slices potatoes was quite simply a masterpiece, and the wine, Gallina de Piet 'Ikigall' from Cataluna was a great accompaniment. The serving staff are always knowledgeable, friendly and efficient, and the chefs are talented and innovative. Good idea to book as it's not a large restaurant and it's very popular. Once you've been you'll definitely want to return!!
Bad service considering it wasn't full, forgot our starters and served our sharing steak, didn't come back with a resolution or apology just suggested we buy dessert if we are not full, shoe horned the bill in to rush us out the door and expected us to pay service charge. Steak was nice, although quite fatty. Also they were pre cut so you couldn't really pick which size you wanted so minimum was around 80 pound for 1 steak. Probably would have returned if there was some kind of apology or resolution for forgetting half our meal. Would not recommend or return for how expensive it is.
Great Spanish tasting menu and the beef was amazing. Unlike other tasting menus I've had, here, halfway through, I was already concerned I might not be able to manage the pudding... but I did...Food: 5/5
