Went to Belushi's on my Birthday as it was one of the recommended places in London to try burger based on the articles. My bf & I went there during happy hours and enjoyed "buy one get one" offer, ordered the famous burger and sides. The cocktails were amazing but it felt like the burger was overrated, didn't enjoy the sides much as well. The ambience was pretty cool and fun.
I have visited this place twice during the past 2 months. Beer is tasty, burger was good enough with fries , while cauliflower as a separete dish was disgusting the place itself is rather authentic as for the pub. Service is good, no problems. Finally I have tried brownie that was not present last time :
I was in the area so popped in to see the Liverpool v West Ham game. Quite busy even though only 5.30pm . They have quite a few screens so a good place to watch the footy.
Good venue for an after game dinner. Good screen provision for diners. The food was OK but a bit pricey IMO. You need ID to get in. Make sure that, if you make a party booking, everyone knows! I didn't and was a little miffed at being challenged. The youngest person in our party of 4 was 28; I'm in my 60s! Maybe I should have been flattered by the challenge but I think it was more a case of policy enforcement - there was no way the managers licence was in jeopardy because of my custom.
As indicated in a number of other reviews, the manager needs some proper customer service training, I'll leave it there! Plenty of other good places to watch sports in London Bridge. Don't be fooled by happy hour, they don't have stock of most of the items they advertise and normal prices are very expensive.
This place really knew how to throw a Green Bay Packers party! Packed to the hilt but ready to serve.
Fella outside not showing no common sense at all 3pm in the afternoon and asking for ID I understand that that they have to scan it to know who's in the venue etc but it was dead . As a 36 year old man I don't carry it with me. All I wanted was to pop in for a quick pint and watch the Ecuador vs Senegal game . Sorry totally clueless how to talk to people
Very poor customer service from the bar staff. Rudely moving a table that had been sat down for over an hour and half for a table that had just sat down and requested a different tv channel. Blonde lady didn’t seem to care for feedback as it was “just a part time job” for her whilst colleagues laughed at complaint.
If you're wanting to watch things such as football, here is a great bar/pub to go. When previously visiting, we were given a large table with a dedicated screen for 3 hours which was excellent.
Hold tables past 15 minutes so paying members of the public can’t have them all so they can keep them for ‘people who work here’ if you work here surely you’d have a bit of respect to show up on time. Security on door is the best thing about this place but that’s where it stops. Drinks aren’t nice and are over priced. Table booking 20 minutes late but you want to keep the rugby on and not change it to football for people who haven’t even turned up or bothered to let you know they’ll be late. Think your rules and regulations need reviewing. First and last visit. Manager does need some customer service training so do most of the staff blonde girl with her hair in bunches should give you all a leesson
