This garage is quite a small car dealership and although the cars sold are good, the staff are good too. I was seen to rather quickly and greeted well. I didn't have much of a choice with regards to my current car and financial situation but I was treated well despite showing up just before close. I must agree with what another person mentioned on a review and that they seriously do abuse the parking in the surrounding rounds to an astonishing degree. The downside to this place besides the parking abuse mentioned just above, they don't have a great deal of cars to show their customers so seeing their full range is rather difficult.
Very helpful to me despite me cocking up my booking with them. Put themselves out to help me so very appreciative. Also get the impression their not the sort of company to try to randomly charge you for stuff to make extra money..
As a Hyundai owner I regularly take my car here for its regular services. I've always found them to be professional and expedient. The premises are small and being in Belmont, there's not a lot to do while you wait. To get around this there's a comfortable waiting area, and you could pass the time down the road at The Usual Place, a great little cafe/diner.
While the Hyundai is a good car, the service level in Belmond garage does not reflect any type of Asian/Korean standard in service quality and customer care. Brought in my car because of 2 Hyundai issued recalls. Scheduled for today, but they were unable to do it. Because 4pm was too late for them to do the work. Asked to come back in 3 weeks. A joke compared to Korean working ethics! Their notion of customer care is very poor. Only because it is labeled as Hyundai, do not expect to be treated as by an Asian company. Their problem solving capabilities and solution proposals are very poor and require a very thick skin on client side. While I understand that they might not have anymore slots free for today , the way that the customer is treated and how they communication is below average. No slot free today - though I had a booked one. Why there is not slot available for tomorrow? I was asking myself what they did during my scheduled slot? Especially the secretary has a style which would need definitely more "training" in Korea or a reconsideration if this is the right job for her in representing Hyundai. I have worked with Hyundai too long and lived in Korea and Japan. So I am able to say, Belmond garage definitely does not represent and reflect Hyundai's way of treating customers. A re-assessment of the dealership is urgently required by Hyundai! Service quality is deteriorating and shedding a bad light on the brand. Very disappointing, better avoid! My next vehicle won't be a Hyundai if customer service and solution finding stays that poor and remains at pushing things on the client as well as blaming the customer. Conclusion: Very poor customer treatment. Very incompetent in providing options and solutions. Needs a re-assessment by the parent company. While the car is good, it is better to avoid the service. Does not represent Hyundai's philosophy at all. Better avoid! . , . . !
Very rude pompus staff and bigots inside their. My car had a flat tire,could not find the kit to remove the tire their. I went to my local Hyuandi as mine was 20miles + away. Asked the salesman politely to see assist me with findind the tire kit the rude abbrupt reply was "How do you expect me to help you"? He looked for the tire kit all over the receptionist was peering from inside like I was some odd person asking for a strange thing with dirty looks.... i explained you are not doing me a favour i'm a paying customer. I rang the manager who insisted I take the car further away to Croydon and "the customer is never right" by the way his rude staff behavied he said to pay half for my troubled time. Really needed the kit and rang up customer services the next day and was told the kit was free! The look on Len's face.... Remember:- 1. The customer is always right,without our custom your business does operate. 2. He who laughs last laughs the longest and the loudest! 3. Please in future do not do what your receptionist did to previous customer's it is bad for business.
We could not get a test drive until we agreed on the purchase of a 2018, black four door vehicle with no miles. Had the car been sold already? It had a For Sale sticker of £21 k +on the screen. We had a Honda civic, 2010 model to part exchange.The sales garage got a one star for asking us to make up our minds and decide to purchase the car before a test drive. What a cheek. It is advertised openly THAT A TEST DRIVE is AVAILABLE. Hyundai needs to Improve their customer service and sales training. Be transparent and honest. Truly disgusting.My wife and I really liked the Tuscon. We have not purchased another vehicle as yet as we feel so let down by the selling technics we have experienced.
Very disappointed in the Servicing Department. My Hyundai i10 with Hyundai Service history and only 13k miles on the clock was 3 months outside warrenty. I was told it would be £120 to diagnose the problem Google and Independent Garage both told me it was gear box oil seal... Actually Belmont told me they thought it would be this, but would have to charge £120 to be sure! Marginally understandable. Despite asking, there was absolutely no support to consider a goodwill repair as car outside warranty other than call Hyundai uk who informed me it was down to the dealer to approach them for goodwill repairs which are agreed on basis of time outside warranty 3 months mileage 13k and service history full! So very disappointed. I won't bother them again
I would recommend Belmont Garage to everyone and haven't purchased a car anywhere else for many years. Ian Williams the owner runs the company in a truly professional manner, his customer service is 100% 1st Class.
Helpful friendly staff, both service & sales. Booked car in for minor’ish bodywork repair, done while I waited & reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
Very poor customer service regarding a potential warrently claim, was told a faulty LED running light on my Santa Fe was the result of impact damage it wasn’t] and therefore not covered. His parting words were ‘well you could speak to customer services, but they will just speak to me and I’ll tell them the same thing.’ We have spent £000s on accessories for different cars there which they are happy to do, but makes you wonder if the anyone can actually claim for anything under the warranty.
