We've just checked out of the hotel and we had a wonderful 1 night stay for the price. The lady on reception was welcoming and polite. We stayed downstairs and had a family room even though there was 2 of us. The room was clean bright and had a great powerful shower! If I were to criticise, the bedding could of been better. The duvet cover didn't fit the duvet and was a heavy weight winter duvet. Our friends stayed upstairs and they weren't too impressed with their room but ours was lovely. Seems like it's the luck of the draw. Worth a booking for to get your head down if it's a cheap room you need
Worst hotel EVER. My room 6 had curtains that only covers the upper half of the window so people can still see you no privacy at all and the sun shines on your face early morning lmao. Dont get me started on the small toilet. You can hear loud water pipes all night long so you can't even sleep. Waste of money I'd rather be homeless.Rooms: 1/5
Do not book here, photos are fake. The stairs are horrible for any person, very dangerous. The staff guy was nice but with the money you pay they should buy better beds, clean a lot more and fix the hot water in the shower. At least the room was warm, but I can't say anything else in a positive way. The only good thing is the place near the station and lots of food shops and restaurants
For this price, I wasn't expecting the Ritz and I'm fine with that. An unattended reception, lower ground floor room which overlooked a kitchen, a broken shower, a toilet that hadn't been flushed when I arrived, and the least comfortable bed I have ever slept on were also things I wasn't expecting, but were presented with. The lady at reception was polite, but that's not enough to encourage me back.
Lowercase room and suffocating "bathroom". Very dirty poorly maintained environment. Walls and ceiling seem made of paper, you hear the breath of the neighbors and especially the footsteps of the tenants upstairs. Impossible to sleep. Moreover the door has 4-5 cm of space where cold drafts of air come in and only God knows what else.
The room is small, I bet prisoners get bigger cells. There's mildew in the bathroom and dust everywhere. The TV has blotchy signal and the reception has a over powering of air freshener and dead fresh flowers. Found a ATM receipt on room floor dated 23,9,23. So that's a week that the floor hasn't been properly cleaned.Rooms: 1/5
Was in room 14 will never go to that hotel very dirty shower, next to toilet was dry urine on walls bedroom very small and the walls are so dirty, paid to much for that filthy room,I was working in a hotel for so long here in Canada and I know so much about cleanliness,not me anyone can tell how the room is ,
A hidden jewel. Best budget hotel I've stayed in. The rooms were clean, had tea and coffee making facilities, bottles of water. Breakfast included was more than enough eggs cooked fresh rather than sitting out all morning. The rooms were nice and quite couldn't hear noises outside or in hallways etc. The staff were friendly happy to help when we locked a key in the room. Will 100% stay here next time in London. Great location.
Terrible. Small, dirty, old and uncomfortable rooms that smelled like cigarettes. The staff were nice, but they know the hotel is unacceptable, and they will not help you. The location is nice so they want you to shut up, pay, and leave.Rooms: 1/5
Our room, room 6, had no curtains which meant we had no privacy as other guests from surrounding rooms could see in to our room. The pillows were hard, imagine the smallest bathroom you’ve ever seen, there’s were smaller and the shower flooded everywhere. It also took 15 minutes to get to an above cold temperature- never got. Staff were friendly though and good location.
